Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method/system/apparatus for processing data formatted by using a first markup language to data which can be used by a second different markup language. SOLUTION: The method involves a series of steps which includes a step for identifying a template which corresponds to a specified document. The specified document contains formatted data. Additionally, the step of applying a template to the specified document includes a step for extracting data from formatted contents. The step of formatting the data using a different markup language is performed.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a VoIP(Voice over Internet Protocol) based voice system where the design and installation of voice applications maintain a state separated from the design and installation of IP telephony systems. SOLUTION: A VoIP compatible voice server includes a voice application that can be configured to make communication with a VoIP telephony gateway server via a VoIP communication path. Furthermore, the VoIP compatible voice server includes a VoIP compatible call control interface leading to the VoIP telephony gateway server and the VoIP compatible call control interface builds up the VoIP communication path. In an operation, the voice application receives a VoIP compatible packet via the VoIP communication path. As a result, digitized voice data can be reconfigured with the VoIP compatible packet. The digitized voice data are converted into a voice-text. Furthermore, the text is synthesized with the digitized voice data, and the digitized voice data is capsulated into the VoIP compatible packet, which is transmitted to the telephony gateway server via the VoIP communication path.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for operating a device independently of a wireless communication connection, and for updating mapping data during a travel. SOLUTION: A grid including a plurality of geographical regions is identified. Each geographical region has a navigation data set including the mapping data at a road level. A link reference is defined in each geographical region. The geographical navigation bundle in accordance with a framework matched with an OSGi is identified. Each bundle corresponds to one geographical region, and includes the data set and a manifest file. The manifest file includes a version, a date and the link reference. A GPS equipped device dynamically installs the bundle, activates the bundle, implements at least one navigation process from the data set, predicts a time when new navigation data are required, and automatically obtains the proper geographical navigation bundle in response to predictions. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of dynamically generating a speech menu in a voice-enabled program so that a user can select a menu item by speaking the contents of data. SOLUTION: This method of dynamically formatting speech menu structure includes a series of steps. A markup language document including reference to a server-side program is provided. The server-side program is programmed so as to dynamically format the data by using a voice-enabled markup language. A data base is accessed by using a program of a server side. A data base includes a plurality of data items. The speech menu items are created by formatting the selected data item by using the voice-enabled markup language.
Abstract:
Method has the following steps: calling up a net based document using a visual browser, identifying a reference in the document using the voice browser, where the reference is to electronic contents in acoustic format, transfer of the reference to the voice browser, calling up the specific content using the voice browser and simultaneous visual depiction of the net-based document at the same time as the voice browser is used to depict the spoken content. An Independent claim is made for machine readable memory that can be used to run a computer program for the simultaneous access to voice bases and visual based electronic content files. An Independent claim is also made for a multi-mode browser.
