Abstract:
A mechanical structure of an information processing device which includes a system board mounted with one or more electric parts and the inside of which is housed in an enclosure. The enclosure has an exchanging port facing exchangeable parts on the system board and a lid for closing the port. When assembling the information processing device, the lid, the exchangeable parts, a heat radiating member, and the system board are stacked in this order. The heat radiating effect is improved without marring the exchangeability of heat generating parts. In addition, the cost of manufacturing the information processing device is low because the mechanical structure is relatively simple.
Abstract:
Provided is a mechanical structure, for an information handling unit in which are included one or more exchangeable electric components, whose interior is enclosed by a box. The box has: an exchange opening formed for a replacement of an exchangeable electric component; and a lid for engaging the exchange opening and for contacting the exchangeable electric component. According to the present invention, the heat releasing effect can be enhanced with no deterioration of the ease with which a heat generating component can be exchanged. In addition, the present invention can be embodied as a relatively simple mechanical structure, and manufacturing costs can be reduced.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily braze plates, forming a chamber, together without spoiling the function of a wick even when a thin and compact vapor chamber is manufactured. SOLUTION: The vapor chamber is equipped with a 1st plate member which demarcates the bottom surface of a chamber space, a 2nd plate member which demarcates the top surface and flank of the chamber space, and the wick provided on the bottom surface of the chamber space. A lower end of the 2nd plate member demarcating the flank is brazed to the 1st plate member, and the wick is separated into a peripheral wick at a periphery and an inner wick inside it. Further, the peripheral wick is arranged in a groove formed on the 1st plate member. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vapor chamber excellent in heat transporting characteristic by smoothly generating a circulating flow of a working fluid. SOLUTION: In this vapor chamber 1, a condensable fluid which is evaporated and condensed according to heat input and heat radiation states is sealed in a hollow flat plate-like sealed container 2 as the working fluid 3, and wicks 5A and 5B generating capillary tube pressures by wetting of the working fluid 3 are arranged within the sealed container 2. The wick 5A which generates a larger capillary tube pressure by wetting of the working fluid 3 is arranged close to an evaporation part 6 side for receiving a heat input from the outside, and the wick 5A with a smaller flowing resistance to the wetted working fluid 3 is arranged on a condenser 8 side for radiating heat to the outside.
