Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device for displaying an optimum image corresponding to an external environment for a user.SOLUTION: A display device comprises: a reading unit that reads an image pattern on a physical medium; an acquisition unit that acquires a state parameter of an external environment acquired by an environment sensor for sensing an environment around the display device; a shooting unit that shoots the physical medium to generate a captured image; and a display unit that displays a display object which is to be presented to a user and is determined based on the read image pattern with the captured image in an overlapped manner. The display object displayed with the captured image in an overlapped manner changes according to the state parameter of the external environment.
