    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device composed of aerodynamic elements attachable to the outside and a device accessible to the roof of the elevator car, and for reducing wind noise and vibration of the elevator car to be moved at a high speed. SOLUTION: An upper part 3 having an oval-like shape and attached from the outside is movably placed on an elevator car 1 and directly held by a mechanical method by a centering device. Recesses on the side surface surround guide roller supports 6. As a method for providing access to the roof of the car 1, an integrated lifting device capable of lifting the upper extension element 3 is provided. A lower extension element 4 is constituted into a frame-shaped hollow body and has a flap on the lower side, and the flap can be downwardly turned to enable access to a device on the lower side of the elevator car 1.

    Abstract: A device to reduce wind noises on elevator cars traveling at high speed consists of domes (1) with aerodynamically favorable shape which are attached above the car roof (3) or under the car floor (4) or in both places concurrently, these domes being made of an elastic, membranous foil. The stiffness of the domes is given by means of a supporting structure of rod-shaped elements, or by air chambers built into the membranous dome walls. Openings (9) in the dome walls, which can be fastened with zip fasteners, permit evacuation of passengers and access to the car roof and the underside of the car.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a device for reducing wind noise and vibration on fast moving elevator cars (1) consisting of externally mountable aerodynamic elements (3, 4) and a device to permit access to the car roof. The upper externally mounted element (3) with a shape similar to an ellipsoid is placed loosely on top of the elevator car (1) and held by direct mechanical means of a centering device. Recesses at the sides surround the guide roller supports (6). As a means of providing access to the car roof there is an integral lifting device which allows the upper extension element (3) to be lifted. The lower extension element (4) is constructed as a hollow body in the shape of a frame and has on its underside flaps which can be swiveled downward and which permit access to the equipment on the underside of the elevator car (1).
