A portable communications device is provided. The portable communications device can include a first body. The portable communications device can also include a second body, which can be slideable relative to the first body between a first, closed position and at least a second, opened position. The portable communications device can further include a user input device, which can be coupled to the first body and can be movable relative to at least the second body. The user input device can be disposed within the second body when the second body is in the first position and can be movable to be substantially planar with a top surface of the first body or the second body when the second body slides from the first position to the second position.

Slide actuators for portable communications terminals having a first body and a second body slideably movable relative to the first body. An exemplary embodiment of a slide actuator includes a guide rail assembly for coupling to first and second bodies of a portable communications terminal. A biasing assembly is coupled to the guide rail assembly. The guide rail assembly includes a guide rod. The guide rail assembly is configured to translate a generally linear motion of the second body relative to the first body to a rotational motion of the guide rod. The biasing assembly is configured for connection to the first body. The biasing assembly is configured to provide a biasing force toward a first rotational rest position and a second rotational rest position of the guide rod.

The present invention relates to a composition for controlling harmful algae, designed to prevent the excessive proliferation of harmful algae due to nutrient salts. More specifically, the present invention relates to a composition for controlling harmful algae, comprising a compound represented by the following Chemical Formula 1 or a salt thereof. The composition comprising a compound of Chemical Formula 1 according to the present invention has an outstanding algicidal effect whereby it suppresses the growth and proliferation of green algae, cyanobacteria, diatoms, euglenoids, flagellated algae and yellow-green algae which give rise to excessive proliferation of algae such as in green algal blooms and red algal blooms in locations such as the sea, rivers and streams, and the composition can be employed very usefully in preventing damage from green algal blooms and red algal blooms and in preventing water pollution.

The invention relates to a slide module for mobile terminals in prevention of horizontal deviation. More specifically, the invention relates to a slide module for mobile terminals having means integratedly installed therein to prevent horizontal deviation of the slide module, so that the slide module moves with swaying horizontally to a minimum and the thickness of the slide module is also reduced.

More specifically, the present invention relates to a novel Thiazolidinedione derivative expressed by the following chemical formula (1) and a pharmaceutical composition comprising the same. The novel Thiazolidinedione derivative of the following chemical formula (1) according to the present invention can be effectively used for the prevention or treatment of cardiovascular disease, gastrointestinal disease and renal disease by inhibiting the activity of 15-hydroxyprostaglandin dehydrogenase (15-PGDH) that decomposes prostaglandins, for preventing hair loss while stimulating hair growth, for osteogenic stimulation and for the treatment of burns.
