Abstract: PURPOSE:To lead out the head of a tape as desired in a short time and with high efficiency, by setting the cue or review mode from a high-speed forwarding mode and securing the automatic resetting to the high-speed forwarding mode after releasing the cue or review mode. CONSTITUTION:When a terminal 3 is set at a high level after the high-speed forwarding mode is set, the AND gates 7 and 8 open. Under these conditions, the cue or review mode is set with a terminal 2 set at a high level. Thus the control signal supplied from an operation control circuit 10 is applied to a control circuit 4 via the gate 8 and an OR gate 11 to obtain the cue or review mode. When these modes are released,the terminal is inverted to a low level. Then the gate 7 closes to reset the high-speed forwarding mode. Thus the high-speed travelling is possible for a tape, and at the same time the contents of the tape can be known occasionally without any complicated operation. As a result, the desired lead-out of the tape is possible in a short time and with high efficiency.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery fee charging system that can properly maintain the fee of a battery used as a power supply of an information device. SOLUTION: A battery pack 10 used for the power supply of the mobile information device measures the consumed amount of the battery and transmits battery consumed amount data denoting the measured battery consumed amount to an information device 11 together with a battery pack ID code and a charging server IP address. When connected to the Internet, the information device 11 transmits the battery consumed amount data and the battery pack ID code received from the battery pack 10 to a charging server 12. The charging server 12 references information sent from a contract contents entry device 16 to calculate a battery fee on the basis of the battery consumed amount data and the battery pack ID code. By transmitting the battery fee calculated by the charging server 12 to an account management server 13 of a bank or the like with data of an account number of a charging account, automatic payment processing of the battery fee from the charging account can be performed.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To select a logical output in a resetting period optionally by connecting an additional circuit which has high output impedance during the resetting period to the output side of the output port register of a logical output impedance IC. CONSTITUTION:When a reset pulse RS is supplied to a terminal 6 after power-on operation, a data signal DT is supplied from a computer 1 to the input register 3 of a latch IC2 for extension, but it is not transferred to the output register 4. The Q output of an FF circuit 9 is on a level L, so the respective NAND circuits 10 and NAD circuits 11 of logical circuits 8 (i=0-n-1) of the additional circuit 7 are closed and the outputs of the circuits 10 and 11 are on the levels H and L respectively. Therefore, MOSFETs 12 and 13 are both off and high output impedance is obtained at each terminal T3; and terminals connected to a power source B through a resistance 11 or grounded are on the levels H and L respectively and terminals in a floating state sill have the high impedance. Thus, the operation of the central processing unit 12 is monitored via the repeated signals S1, and charging/ discharging current is interrupted. As a result, various abnormalities can be coped with.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of a logical output IC and to prevent a rise of the cost of an IC, by designating freely a logical output when an output port register of the logical output IC is reset in response to the logical value stored in a memory. CONSTITUTION:Logical values are stored in memory parts 30-3n-1 of a memory 3 in response to a desired logical output obtained when output terminals 80-8n-1 of an output port register 2 are reset. A logical control circuit 4 controls the logical output of the register 2 in accordance with the storage contents of the memory 3 when the circuit 4 is reset after application of a power supply. Therefore flip-flop circuits F0-Fn-1 of the register 2 are set or reset when a reset signal RS' arrives in response to the logical values of storage contents M0-Mn-1 of the memory 3. Then it is possible to designate the logical outputs of output terminals 80-8n-1 of the register 2 at desired levels, respectively.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the transmission derive of a remote controller while using one low voltage battery by using a voltage, for which one low voltage battery is boosted by a booster circuit, as the driving voltage of a light emitting element or a transmission circuit. SOLUTION: The anode of one AA type battery 9 of 1.5V, for example, is connected to a battery terminal VE of an IC 30 for transmission, and its cathode terminal so grounded. Besides, one terminal of an electrolytic capacitor 24 having comparatively large capacity from 200 to 100μF is connected to a capacitor terminal Vc, and its other terminal is grounded. An oscillation circuit 22 and s pump-up circuit 23 are driven by the battery 9 of 1.5V and the output of the oscillation circuit 22 is supplied to the pump-up circuit 23. The voltage higher than 3V boosted by the pump-up circuit 23 is charged to the capacitor 224 and the charging/discharging voltage of this capacitor 24 drives a circuit 20 for transmission, output circuit 21 and LED 8 made into IC. Thus, one low voltage battery of about 1.5V can emit an infrared LED and can drive the IC for transmission.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To rapidly perform a program search on a medium by setting a cue or a review mode when a cue or a review operation button is pressed at a fast forward mode and automatically resetting a fast forward button by releasing it. CONSTITUTION:A fast forward FF or a rewind REW mode is set and an 'H' signal is supplied on a terminal 3 and assuming that AND gates 7, 8 are opened. Here when the cue CUE or the review REW button is pressed, the 'H' signal is supplied on the terminal 2, and the signal drives an operation control circuit 10 through the AND gate 7. Hence the control circuit 10 outputs a signal instructing the CUE or REV mode and the signal is supplied to a control circuit 4 through the AND gate 8 and an OR gate 11. The circuit 4 receives it and the control signal CTL controlling the CUE or REW mode is transmitted to a specified circuit. When a depression on a button of the CUE, etc., is released, the terminal 2 becomes a former mode 'L'.
