    Abstract: Radiation sensor including a detection assembly and a chopper assembly, which are mechanically coupled to delimit a main cavity; and wherein the chopper assembly includes: a suspended movable structure, which extends in the main cavity; and an actuation structure, which is electrically controllable to cause a change of position of the suspended movable structure. The detection unit includes a detection structure, which faces the main cavity and includes a number of detection devices. The suspended movable structure includes a first shield of conductive material, which shields the detection devices from the radiation, the shielding of the detection devices being a function of the position of the suspended movable structure.

    Abstract: Die Erfindung betrifft ein Fotometer (1) bei dem mittels eines Zerhackers (17,18,29,31) eine Meßphase, eine Referenzphase und eine Dunkelphase er­zeugt werden. Diese Phasen sind zeitlich versetzt, so daß für alle Phasen ein einziger Detektor (23) vorgesehen sein kann. In dem Fotometer (1) ist das zu messende Objekt (6) zwischen zwei Lichtleitern (13,14) vorge­sehen, wobei der eine Lichtleiter (14) zu dem Detektor (23) und der an­dere Lichtleiter (13) zu dem Zerhackereingang (17) führt. Der Zerhacker­ausgang (18) ist mit einem weiteren Lichtleiter (19) auf den Detektor (23) geführt (Fig. 1).

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A pyroelectric infrared sensor system is provided to improve convenience of use by preventing a convenience unit connected to the pyroelectric infrared system from being shut off. CONSTITUTION: A pyroelectric infrared sensor system includes an induction unit for inducing a secondary detection by using a pyroelectric infrared sensor and a chopper(32). In order to obtain a relationship between the pyroelectric infrared sensor and the chopper(32), data detected by the pyroelectric infrared sensor are inputted into a microprocessor. When the chopper is moved, a signal value is detected by means of an infrared ray source. When the infrared ray source moves from a left to a right of the pyroelectric infrared sensor, signals having plus and minus values are detected from an X-axis.

    Abstract: A method and an apparatus for detecting a whitening effect of an LCD are provided to correctly detect the whitening effect by comparing LCD driving data with LCD driving data stored in an LCD module. LCD driving data are transmitted to a memory within an LCD module so as to be recorded in a memory(S1). The LCD driving data are read from the memory(S3). The transmitting data are compared with the read data. A static electricity detection process is performed to detect static electricity from an LCD module. The whitening effect of the LCD is determined when the difference between the transmitting data and the read data is over a predetermined rate and the generation of the static electricity is detected(S5).
