    Abstract: PURPOSE: To easily manufacture a sleeve for an anchor bolt by forming a cylindrical collar having segments extending radially outwards, and bending the segments until they come to a position where they form a cylinder. CONSTITUTION: A blank 2 comprising a cylindrical collar 4 having a number of segments 8 extending radially outwards is formed. The blank 2 is a simple split type and is easily formed by casting, press forming, or forging. The segment 8 is bent around the shaft of the collar 4 unit it comes to an assembly position with a cylindrical shape and becomes a sleeve of an anchor bolt. The sleeve is inserted into a bolt with a multi-head and a nut is fixed. Then the head is introduced into the sleeve and the segments are expanded. The anchor bolt is inserted into a hole which is to be fixed and the nut is tightened, then the segments 8 are fixed to the hole and the anchor bolt becomes a strong one.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide a female clinch fastener adapted to be secured to a sheet by cold-forming. CONSTITUTION: This female clinch fastener 20 includes a generally tubular main body having a plurality of circumferentially spaced splines 35. Longitudinally extending portions of the splines 35 are adapted to be deformed by cold- forming, i.e., peeling, to form a laterally extending flange 33 along a medial portion of the tubular main body. The clinch fastener 20 includes a laterally extending second flange at one end which cooperates with the cold-formed flange 33 to secure the fastener within a pilot, i.e., a collar, formed at an opening in a sheet. The splines 35 adjacent to the end flange are secured within the pilot in the sheet and prevent rotation of the clinch fastener 20.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain an equipment wherein exchange of a jaw is unnecessary at the time of change to a pickup of other size die and fine adjustment of a die is easy, by constituting a cooperation centering means arranged on a tool holder and a head, of a three-point positioning equipment. CONSTITUTION: This equipment is provided with a retainer 12, a head 14 and a tool bank. The tool bank is provided with a plurality of tool holders 40, tools 48 are fitted into the respective tool holders 40, and the respective tools 48 are picked up with a head 14. A cooperation centering means for positioning the tool holders 40 on the head 14, and a means for driving the head 14 between the tool bank, a die holder station, and a fixing station are installed. A means which indexes the tool bank in order to index the selected tool holder to a station wherein the selected tool holder can be picked up with the head 14 is installed. In the above tool change equipment, the cooperation centering means is constituted of a three-point positioning equipment.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To make the dead time of a machine as short as possible at the time of change to a different kind of die and obtain an equipment capable of dealing with various kinds of dies, by installing a magazine storing a plurality of die supply packages, a specified clamp assembling member and an indexing means. CONSTITUTION: This equipment is provided with a magazine 10 storing a plurality of die supply packages 12 and a clamp assembly 40 having a first and a second clamping means which are rotatable around an axial line 62. The respective clamping means collect the die supply packages 12 selected from the magazine 10, and supply the die supply packages 12 to a die ejecting station. After a specified number of dies are taken out and returned to the magazine 10, the die supply packages 12 are withdrawn from the die ejecting station. An indexing means which indexes movements of the die supply packages 12 in the magazine 10, and a means which indexes rotation of the clamp assembly 40 around the axial line 62 are also installed.

CONSTITUTION: A clamp part 12 extends in an almost circular shape from a base part 4, and has two locking members 28, 30. The first locking member 28 has an outward extending finger-like piece lever 32 and an inward turning fastening part 34, and the second member 30 has an outward extending finger- like piece lever 36 and an outward turning fastening part 38. One end part of a rigid hydraulic pipe is pushed in a circular part 18, and then, a socket member is pushed in a stud welded to a workpiece so that a clip is fixed to a prescribed position. An end part of a flexible pipe is inserted into the clamp part 12 to be pushed in a hexagonal part 18. The hexagonal part engages with the end part of the pipe to hold this end part in a state of tightly abutting on the rigid pipe so as not to make torsional motion.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain a liquid-tight fastening by using a first elastic plastic bushing and a metal end cap which is covered by the outward/backward-expaned bushing when a screw is tightened. CONSTITUTION: A bushing 10 made of neoprene, nitrile rubber, etc., is inserted into a hole 12 of a thin wall 14, and an attachment member 18 to be fixed on the wall 14 is mounted on the flange 16. A screw 20 is screwed to a stamp aperture 22 of a metallic end cap 24 through a bushing 10, and the metallic end cap 24 is engaged with a reduced diameter part 26 of the bush 10. When the screw 20 is tightened, the reduced diameter part 26 is pressed inwardly against the screw 20, and if a stronger force is applied, an increased diameter part 32 of the bushing 10 is expanded outwardly to cover an open end 28 of the metallic end cap 24, and the open end 28 is subject to an inward-radial force. A result is that the metallic end cap 24 is centered to obtain a liquid-tight fastening.
