The present invention relates to a refrigerating appliance comprising a cell (402) for containing foods, cooling means (403) for the cell (402), a control module (420) controlling the cooling means (403), power supply means (404, 404a, 404b) for supplying electric mains power (405) to the refrigerating appliance, and electric monitoring means (430) for monitoring the power supplied by said power supply means (404, 404a, 404b). The appliance further comprises time counting means (440) and an accumulator (407) which supplies reserve power to said time counting means (440). The time counting means (440) are therefore adapted to measure a time interval in which the power supplied by said power supply means (404, 404a, 404b) is null, and the control module (420) is adapted to generate alarm information dependent on the time count. Preferably, the appliance comprises a display (102) for displaying the alarm information.

A cooking appliance, in particular an oven, has a structure, articulated to which is a front door (5). Secured via fixing means (16-19) to a fore component (4) of the structure is a covering element (10) of a user interface. The door (5) and the covering element (10) are mounted on the structure in such a way that, in the condition where the door (5) is closed, defined between a lower edge (10a) of the covering element (10) and an upper edge (5a) of the door (5) is an interstice (G). The fore component (4) of the structure and the covering element (10) have means for mutual hooking (14-15), pre-arranged to provide between them a loose coupling, with play. The fixing means (16- 19) are pre-arranged for enabling the covering element (10) to be secured in a fixed position on the fore component (4) in one of a plurality of possible alternative positions allowed by the play provided by the hooking means (14-15).

A household laundry dryer (1) comprises a cabinet (2-5) having a front wall (3) and a rear wall (4), a generally cylindrical laundry drum (7) rotatably mounted within the cabinet (2-5) for rotating according to a substantially horizontal rotational axis (X), support means (8, 9) for rotatably supporting the drum (7), driving means (10-12) for rotating the drum (7). The drum (7) has a metal peripheral wall (13) that is substantially cylindrical and extends between a front wall (14) and a rear wall (15) of the drum (7). The front (14) and rear (15) walls of the drum (7) are substantially flange-shaped, each have at least one hole (14a) for passage of drying air and are fixed to a respective end edge of the peripheral wall (13). According to the invention, at least one between the front wall (14) and the rear wall (15) of the drum (7) has a main body made of plastic material, that is fixed at a respective end edge of the peripheral wall (13).

In a system for distributing a consumable resource the resource is supplied by an generation and/or distribution installation or plant (1-3) to a plurality of users (4a-4e), through a distribution network (5). A respective consumption threshold of the resource is assigned to each user (4a-4e) and the possibility of varying the consumption threshold of the resource assigned to at least one first user and one second user (4a, 4e) is provided for. Provided for such purpose is a processing system (10), configured to allow: - the first user (4a) to offer at least one share of consumption of the resource assigned thereto according to a predetermined limit, and - the second user (4e) to accept at least one share of consumption offered by the first user (4a), and thus conclude the transaction. The threshold consumption of the resource assigned to the first user (4a) and the consumption threshold of the resource assigned to the second user (4e) are modified, respectively reducing and increasing, depending on the information representative of the performed transaction.
