Abstract: A fluid actuator arrangement comprises a first cylinder housing including a first head member and a second head member; a first piston body is slidable arranged in said first cylinder housing; the first piston body divides the first cylinder housing interior into a first cylinder chamber and a second cylinder chamber, at least the first cylinder chamber is coupled to a fluid supply. The first piston body exhibits a first through-bore and a second through-bore that extend through the first piston body in an axial direction; a first piston rod is arranged slidable in the first through-bore and a second piston rod is arranged slidable in the second through-bore; and the first through-bore comprises a first engagement and disengagement device and the second through-bore comprises a second engagement and disengagement device, which are arranged for providing individual engagement or disengagement to or from the respective first and second piston rod.

Abstract: A piezoelectric sensor arrangement for use in a projectile comprises a piezoelectric sensor enveloped by a damping layer adapted to attenuate signals of frequencies above a predetermined cutoff frequency whereby the voltage output signal of the piezoelectric sensor upon impact on a desired hard target can be discriminated from voltage output signals originating from impact on undesired soft objects. A method of discriminating voltage outlet signals by means of the piezoelectric sensor arrangement and the use of a piezoelectric sensor arrangement in a projectile to safeguard unintentional detonation does not occur is described herein.

The invention also relates to a method of producing such shaped charge liner and the use 0 thereof in a projectile for penetrating a hard military target.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method for operating a pulsed radar system, wherein the pulsed radar system comprises a transmitting antenna, configured to transmit transmission signals, a receiving antenna, configured to receive reflected signals and a signal generating means, configured to generate transmission signals. The method comprises the steps of generating a first transmission signal at a first centre frequency, generating a second transmission signal at a second centre frequency and transmitting the first and the second transmission signals during a predefined transmission time window. The first transmission signal is significantly longer than the second transmission signal. The transmission of the second transmission signal starts during or at the end of the transmission of the first transmission signal and ends essentially at the end of the transmission time window. When the first and/or second transmission signal hits a target a first reflected signal and/or a second reflected signal is generated, wherein the centre frequency of the first reflected signal correlate to the centre frequency of the first transmission signal and the centre frequency of the second reflected signal correlate to the centre frequency of the second transmission signal, and wherein the method further comprises the method step of receiving the first and/or second reflected signal.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for determining a synthetic aperture of a synthetic aperture radar, SAR, system using information from a global navigation satellite system, GNSS, which includes a plurality of satellites each transmitting a radio frequency signal comprising a unique pseudo random number, PRN. The method comprises: receiving the radio frequency signal from a group of satellites in the GNSS, determining a first maximum correlation peak of the PRN of the received radio frequency signal from each satellite in the group of satellites, determining the phase shift between the first determined maximum correlation peak and a second determined maximum correlation peak of a received PRN from the same satellite at a later time, for each satellite in the group of satellites, determining a line-of-sight, LOS, movement of the SAR system relative each of the satellites in the group of satellites by means of the determined phase shift for each satellite in the group of satellites, and determining a synthetic aperture using the LOS movement relative each satellite in the group of satellites.

Abstract: A dispenser for storing and launching countermeasures from an aircraft, comprising an elongate body provided with at least one launch opening where the countermeasures are stored in cartridges, where the cartridges are interconnect to each other in a slidable manner, and where the cartridges are adapted to be tilted by a tilting means to a selected angle, such that the openings of the cartridges can be directed in a selected direction. The advantage of the invention is that a countermeasure can be directed in a desired angle before it is launched.
