    Abstract: The present invention provides vinyl-based resin particles capable of easily smoothing the surface of a thermosetting resin film when the particles are used as a pore-forming material for a thermosetting resin. Specifically, the present invention provides vinyl-based resin particles for use in making a thermosetting resin porous, the particles having a temperature of 230° C. or higher and lower than 300° C. at 10% mass loss when heated at a rate of 10° C./min in an air atmosphere, and the particles having a mass loss percentage of 85 to 100% after being heated at 350° C. for 5 hours in an air atmosphere.

    Abstract: The present invention provides an adhesive, high water content gel that does not cause a heat generation problem even when used as a patient plate for electrosurgical units through which high current flows and that is excellent in adhesion, as well as an electrode pad including the gel. The present invention relates to an adhesive, high water content hydrogel containing a polymer matrix that includes a copolymer of a polymerizable monomer and a crosslinkable monomer, water, a polyhydric alcohol, an electrolyte, polyacrylic acid, and polyvinyl alcohol, the hydrogel containing, based on 100% by weight of the total hydrogel, 40-70% by weight of water, 1.0-5.0% by weight of polyacrylic acid, and 0.5-5.0% by weight of polyvinyl alcohol, and being produced by copolymerization. An electrode pad is also obtained by coating a conductive layer formed on a base film with the adhesive, high water content hydrogel.

    Abstract: A laminated foam sheet includes a foam layer, a first non-foam layer positioned on one side of the foam layer, and a second non-foam layer positioned on another side of the foam layer, in which the foam layer includes a polyolefin-based resin, the foam layer has a thickness of 2.0 to 6.0 mm, the foam layer has a closed cell ratio of 70% or more, the first non-foam layer includes a non-cross-linked olefin-based elastomer, the first non-foam layer has a maximum static friction coefficient determined by JIS K7125 of 2.0 or more, the second non-foam layer has a maximum static friction coefficient determined by JIS K7125 of 1.0 or less, and a ratio represented by [basis weight of first non-foam layer (a)]/[basis weight of second non-foam layer (b)] is 0.5 to 2.0.

    Abstract: A method for producing a vehicle seat member in which a frame member having protrusions is integrally molded to a foamed resin molded body is provided. The method comprises an in-mold foam molding step of placing the frame member in a mold, packing prefoamed resin particles, and molding the foamed resin molded body by in-mold foam molding; and a demolding step of removing the mold to obtain the vehicle seat member, wherein in the in-mold foam molding step, the foamed resin molded body is molded so that (B−A)/B is 13/1000 or less, wherein A is an outer dimension of the foamed resin molded body in the vehicle seat member obtained by the demolding step and B is an inner dimension of the mold corresponding to the outer dimension of the foamed resin molded body.
