    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agent for the treatment of life habit diseases of mammals, concretely a CD40 signal blocker containing an s-triazolo[1,5- a]pyrimidine derivative and/or its pharmaceutically permissible salt as an active component and having at least one action selected from (a) action to suppress the CD40 channel for the activation of monocyte/macrophage, (b) action to suppress the expression of CD40, (c) action to suppress the production of IL-6, (d) action to suppress the production of IL-12 and (e) action to suppress the production of MCP-1 and provide a method for the screening of a risk-reducing agent in cardiovascular event. SOLUTION: The CD40 signal blocker contains an s-triazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidine derivative expressed by formula (I) (R1 is H, a halogen, a 1-4C alkyl, an N-alkyl or the like; R2 is H, a halogen, a 1-4C alkyl, an alkenyl or the like; R3 is amino, a substituted amino, an aryl, a heterocyclic group or the like; and R4 is H, a halogen, a 1-4C alkyl, an aryl or the like) or its pharmaceutically permissible salt as an active component.
