Abstract: PURPOSE: An electric vehicle charging station system with a battery exchanging method is provided to improve the stability of work by accurately and automatically processing whole exchange work by a robot. CONSTITUTION: A rechargeable battery is installed in a battery mounting module of an electric vehicle. A charging station main body includes a battery loading unit(70) for storing the battery. The charging station main body is formed into a structure not interrupting the vehicle. A battery exchanging robot(30) exchanges the battery. A charging station controller(50) controls the battery exchanging robot. Abstract: PURPOSE: A battery exchange method for an electric vehicle is provided to easily replace a battery by automatically communicating a charging station with the electric vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A confirming signal is transmitted to an electric vehicle if the electric vehicle enters a battery charger station. A confirming signal for sealing the battery mounting module is transmitted to the electric vehicle. The position of the battery(10) mounted on the battery mounting module is stored using an image sensor. A robot for changing the battery pulls out a buffering battery. The robot mounts the buffering battery in a mounting base.
