Abstract: PURPOSE: A multichannel AOM(Acousto-Optical Modulator) is provided to simultaneously modulate plural optical beams having different wavelengths to emit the beams at the same diffractive angle, and to simplify an optical system configuration to radiate the optical beams, thereby contributing to miniaturization of a large-screen display device. CONSTITUTION: A multichannel AOM includes an acoustic-optical medium element(21) and a multichannel electric-acoustic transducer(22) which consists of an acousto-medium element(23) for applying an acoustic wave to the acousto-optical medium element(21), three electrodes(24,25,26) separately disposed by channel at certain intervals on an upper side of the acousto-medium element(23), and an adhesive layer(23a) which is made of a conductive material and is disposed in a part where the acousto-medium element(23) is adhered to the acousto-optical medium element(21).

Abstract: 다채널 음향광 변조장치가 개시된다. 음향광학 매질요소와, 상호 다른 파장을 갖고 음향광학 매질요소에 입사되는 복수의 광빔 각각에 대한 회절제어를 위해 외부로부터 상호 분리된 채널을 통해 인가되는 전기적 신호를 분리 수용하여 각각 다른 주파수의 음향파를 상기 음향광학 매질요소에 인가할 수 있도록 상기 광빔의 진행경로 측면이 되는 상기 음향광학 매질요소의 일측에 설치된 다채널 전기-음향 변환기를 구비한다. 이러한 다채널 음향광 변조장치에 의하면 상호 파장을 달리하는 복수의 광빔에 대해 동일한 회절각도로의 출사를 위한 변조를 동시에 할 수있고, 그에 따라 상호 나란하게 출력되는 광빔들의 주사를 위한 광학계 구성을 단순하게 할 수 있어 레이저 프로젝터와 같은 대화면 디스플레이 장치의 구성을 보다 소형화하는데 기여하게 된다.
