Abstract: The present invention comprises a first substrate and a second substrate facing each other; a first electrode and a second electrode formed on the facing surface of the first substrate and the second substrate, respectively; an electrical insulating compound layer arranged on the upper part, the lower part, or both parts of at least one among the first electrode and the second electrode; a liquid crystal layer interposed between the first substrate and the second substrate; and first and second orientation stabilizing layers interposed between the first electrode, the second electrode, and the liquid crystal layer, respectively. The first and second orientation stabilizing layers provide a liquid crystal display device including chemical combination formed by the reaction between a hydroxyl (OH) group or NH group formed on the surface of the first electrode, the second electrode, or the electrical insulating compound layer and a compound for forming the orientation stabilizing layer and a manufacturing method thereof. The liquid crystal device has enhanced optical and electrical properties by having a stabilized liquid crystal array, a pretilt angle in a pixel unit, and an increased reaction speed and minimizing defects in operation of the device. Also, the liquid crystal device improves the reliability of the device by being connected to an optical stabilization compound at the surface by chemical combination. There is a benefit to manufacture the liquid crystal display device which uses a high-quality liquid crystal display device or a flexible base substrate requiring a low-temperature process by not including a high-temperature firing process.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A stereoscopic image display device and a manufacturing method are provided to prevent the degradation of a transmitting ratio of a switchable barrier mode and crosstalk generation. CONSTITUTION: A switchable barrier(40) includes a first substrate(41), a second substrate(42), a first electrode(44), a liquid crystal layer(45) and a second electrode(46). The first substrate and the second substrate in the switchable barrier are faced with each other. The first substrate and the second substrate are implemented with glass or a film. The first substrate forms a first electrode. The second substrate forms a second electrode which is faced with the first electrode. The liquid crystal layer is formed between the first substrate and the second substrate. Liquid crystal molecules in the liquid crystal layer are assembled by a voltage difference between the first electrode and the second electrode.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A polymer dispersed liquid crystal display device is provided to simplify a manufacturing process by not using a polarizing plate and an alignment layer. CONSTITUTION: Mixture is injected between ITO(Indium Tin Oxide) electrode substrates(1,2). The mixture includes RM(Reactive Mesogen) of 0.1 to 60 weight %. After UV(UltraViolet) curing, polymer chains(4-1) are formed between the ITO electrode substrates. Liquid crystal is randomly arranged within the polymer chains. A scattering state is initialized by the refractive index mismatching between the polymer chains and the liquid crystal.

CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal layer(130) is located between a first substrate and a second substrate. The liquid crystal layer is horizontally aligned on the first substrate and the second substrate.
