Disclosed is a transmission system for a hybrid three-dimensional (3D) content service. The transmission system includes an SVC encoder encoding 3D content of a left image and a right image and a hybrid network transmission streaming module transmitting a base layer (BL) stream among scalable bit streams encoded by the SVC encoder to a client system through a radio network and transmitting an enhancement layer (EL) stream to the client system through an internet network. PURPOSE: A media data transmitting device for an MMT system, a method thereof, a media data receiving device, and a method thereof are provided to supply timing information for temporal synchronization between media and play timing of the media in an MMT system-based media transmission service. CONSTITUTION: An encoder(310) generates a media stream by encoding media data. A buffer(320) stores the media stream. An encapsulating unit(330) generates encapsulation layer data by encapsulating the media stream. PURPOSE: A high speed decoding method for a low-density parity-check code is provided to obtain low error floor, by using BPSK(Binary Phase Shift Keying) modulation and additive white Gaussian noise channel environment. CONSTITUTION: An LDPC(Low Density Parity Check) code is decoded by LDPC decoding method using a message expressed as an LLR value. The message is converted into a bit stream corresponding to the LLR value. The LDPC code includes a variable node updating procedure using a bit stream. The variable node updating procedure includes a binary calculation procedure among input message values. The variable node updating procedure uses a threshold value.

PURPOSE: A system for providing multilayer contents by using multiple servers and a content service method thereof are provided to divide one content into a plurality of transmission groups having different kinds of quality by using multiple servers. CONSTITUTION: The contents are encoded by a hierarchical coding scheme. The contents are encoded to a hierarchical structure which is composed of a plurality of quality levels. The encoded contents are divided into a plurality of transmission groups. The plurality of transmission groups have the different quality levels.

PURPOSE: A method and system of encoding a visual space division type parallel video are provided to improve encoding speed. CONSTITUTION: A time and space partition unit(110) selects a method for dividing an input image based on constraint condition. The time and space partition unit transmits the input image to different encoding by dividing the input image according to the selected method. A encoding unit(120) generates a encoded bit stream by encoding the divided input image. An input image integration unit(130) integrates the encoding bit stream by receiving from the encoding units.
