PURPOSE: A communication control system and a method thereof controlling a communication path or a routing of a communication network and an operation of a communication device are provided to reduce power usage amount of a communication network by controlling the operation state of an unnecessary device. CONSTITUTION: An energy efficiency monitoring unit(100) calculates energy efficiency of a communication device through collecting quantity of traffic consumed and quantity of power consumed of a communication equipment in a communication network. According to a calculated energy efficiency, a device control unit(110) controls operation of a communication device in the communication network. According to operation control of a communication device, a communication network control unit(120) controls routing or a communication path of a communication network.

PURPOSE: A provisioning management device for managing and controlling the large amount of the network element is provided to performing the improvement of the effective provisioning according to the increase of the network scale. CONSTITUTION: If provisioning client(150) requests provisioning, a provisioning manager(110) performs general control processes for performing a requested business. A profile management block manages all kinds of profiling data of a provisioning system. A provisioning manager engine(112) performs the access or control action about a table update or provisioning agents. A provisioning agent engine manages a plurality of management target nodes.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A multilayer principle switch method of a packet-light integration switch system and a packet-light integration switch system is provided to block the probability of duplication of the protection switchover operation by interlocking protection switchover operations according to each layer. CONSTITUTION: Packet-optical transmission devices(100) detect the blocking whether or not about each multilayer. Packet-optical transmission equipments are proceed the protection switching about one hierarchical path. If failures are detected from two or more hierarchical paths, a multilayer protective switching control device(200) is two or more hierarchical paths and controls the protection switching about the lower layer route operates. If the protection switching function about the lower layer route fails, the protection switching operates about the higher layer route.

본 발명은, 인터넷을 이용한 음성 통화 서비스를 위한 브이오아이피(VoIP) 서비스에서 서비스품질을 반영한 과금을 처리하기 위한 방법 및 시스템에 관한 것으로서, 시그널링 서버를 중계하여 상대측 단말과 세션 설정 프로토콜을 이용하여 시그널링을 수행하고, 상기 시그널링이 완료되면, 상기 상대측 단말과 직접 패킷을 송/수신하여 통화를 시작한 후 상기 통화에 대한 서비스품질을 측정하며, 상기 상대측 단말과의 통화가 완료되면 서비스품질 측정 결과 상기 시그널링 서버로 전송함을 특징으로 한다. 이로써, 본 발명은 VoIP 서비스의 과금 정보에 실제 통화에 대한 서비스품질을 측정하여 추가함으로써 서비스품질을 고려한 과금 정책 수립에 기반을 제공 및 서비스 업체가 SLA에 대한 대비를 가능하도록 할 수 있으며, 보다 합리적인 과금 처리를 수행할 수 있다. A system and a method for extracting a specific Internet application signature from Internet traffic are provided to enable a signature generating unit to process separate flows transferred from a file processing unit in order to generate signatures, thereby preventing traffic generated in a peer-to-peer application. A system(110) for extracting a specific Internet application signature automatically includes a file processing unit(120) and a signature generating unit(130). The file processing unit extracts separate flows(101~104) in order from a traffic file(100) configured in a form that flows are successively connected according to request of the signature generating unit, and transfers the extracted flows to the signature generating unit. The flows are separately transferred to the signature generating unit one by one. The signature generating unit travels a signature file through the file processing unit. The signature generating unit processes the separate flows transferred from the file processing unit in order to generate signatures. The signature generating unit checks a payload sticking to each of packets stored in each flow to generate the signatures.

A method and a system for measuring network quality in a communication network are provided to transfer an operation of an extended agent, which has an error, to a different extended agent through connection and testing. Multiple extended measurement devices(130) are connected with a network equipment in charge of a measurement target, and collect statistics information according to measurement of network quality with respect to the measurement target. A polling engine(150) searches an available extended measurement device having an available measurement process among the multiple extended measurement devices, requests the statistics information with respect to the measurement target, and stores the same.

PURPOSE: A traffic matrix calculating system and method in a network are provided to calculate a traffic matrix by re-processing information on the amount of traffic measured on a network on a real time basis. CONSTITUTION: A precedence analyzer(100) receives net-flow information from a plurality of routers on a network and continuously adds the amount of traffic between peer ASs(Autonomous System) or between subnets. A traffic analyzing server(200) receives information on the currently measured amount of traffic by periodically polling the precedence analyzer(100), calculates a traffic matrix between routers on the basis of mapping information between peer ASs or between subnet addresses connected to a router of a network and each port, and outputs it to a user.

PURPOSE: A device for measuring traffic size by path in an MPLS(Multi-Protocol Label Switching)-based Internet network is provided to measure traffic size by LSP(Label Switched Path), and to observe traffic of the LSPs, then to measure traffic by receiving all routers having different characteristics, thereby easily performing traffic engineering. CONSTITUTION: A user interface(110) registers/stores interested node information of a user, analyzes measured results, and shows the results to the user. A node information storage device(120) stores the registered node information A polling engine(130) periodically indicates a proxy server(140) to measure traffic, targeting on nodes recorded in the node information storage device(120), and receives measured results from the proxy server(140) to analyze/store the results. The proxy server(140) measures the traffic by connecting to a router(201) when being indicated from the polling engine(130), and supplies the measured results to the polling engine(130). A data storage device(150) stores and manages the measured and analyzed results of the polling engine(130).
