Abstract:
PURPOSE: A device and method for controlling the mobility of a terminal in direct communication are provided to maintain D2D(Device to Device) communication by using an existing handover procedure. CONSTITUTION: A source base station determines D2D handover for one or more terminals according to a wireless state report received from two or more terminals executing D2D communication(S603,S605). The source base station transmits a D2D handover request to a target BS(S607). When the response for the D2D handover request is received, the source base station temporally stops the D2D communication(S609,S611). The source base station transmits an RRC(Radio Resource Control) connection reconfiguration request message to a handover target terminal(S613). [Reference numerals] (AA) Start; (BB,DD,FF) No; (CC,EE,GG) Yes; (HH) End; (S601) Request to report a wireless state for a D2D link to a terminal which executes D2D communication; (S603) Is the wireless state report for the D2D link received from the terminal?; (S605) Determine the D2D handover of the terminal according to the wireless state report of the D2D link; (S607) Request D2D handover to a target base station; (S609) Is a response for the D2D handover request received?; (S611) Temporarily stop the D2D communication; (S613) Transmit an RRC connection reconfiguration message to a terminal to be moved to a target cell; (S615) Is a D2D handover success message from the target cell?; (S617) Restart to control the D2D communication
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A D2D(Device to Device) communication starting and terminating method and a device thereof are provided to offer a detailed procedure between the devices by activating and setting a D2D bearer according to an RRC(Radio Resource Control) connection reconfiguration message of a base station. CONSTITUTION: When a D2D link is able to be set, a first and a second device(110,120) transmit a D2D connection inspection response message to a base station(210). The first and the second device sets a D2D bearer based on an RRC connection reconfiguration request message of the base station and transmits the RRC connection reconfiguration response message to the base station. The first and the second device activate a D2D bearer based on a D2D bearer activation request message of the base station and transmit the D2D bearer response message to the base station. [Reference numerals] (110) First device; (120) Second device; (210) First base station; (AA,S311) Response to D2D connection inspection; (BB) Send a message of D2D communication availability; (S301) Determine the availability of D2D communication; (S303) Request to check the availability of D2D communication; (S305) Request D2D connection inspection; (S307) Check the availability of D2D link setting and check the intention for D2D communication; (S315) Request generation of a D2D bearer; (S317) Request D2D bearer configuration and session management; (S319) Request RRC connection reconfiguration; (S321) Set a D2D bearer; (S323,S325) Response to RRC connection reconfiguration
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A terminal including a protocol layer for D2D(Device to Device) communication, a base station, and a D2D bearer setting method using the same are provided to transmit and receive traffic between the D2D terminals by setting a direct bearer between the terminals. CONSTITUTION: A first terminal(100) includes a DBM(D2D Bearer Management) layer(170) managing and setting a bearer for a D2D communication service. The DMB is connected to a base station through a first interface. The first interface transmits the state information of the first terminal to the base station. The first interface receives a control signal for D2D resource assignment from the base station. The first terminal is connected to the second terminal through a second interface exchanging D2D bearer control information. [Reference numerals] (100) First terminal; (200) Second terminal; (300) Base station; (400) Mobile management device; (500) Gateway; (600) D2D server; (AA,CC) First interface; (BB) Second interface
