Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for inducing a prediction MV(Motion Vector) and a device using the method are provided to reduce complexity generated when inducing the prediction MV by calculating a final prediction MV by forming a candidate prediction MV list. CONSTITUTION: An image encoding/decoding device induces temporal candidate prediction MV information based on spatial candidate prediction MV information(S1420). Abstract: A method and apparatus for an adaptive Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) streaming service using metadata of content are provided. The metadata may include one or more BaseURL elements. Uniform Resource Locators (URLs) of segments forming media may be generated based on the BaseURL elements. Additionally, a URL of a segment may be generated by mapping a BaseURL element among the BaseURL elements to a sourceURL attribute of the segment. Segments indicated by generated URLs may be identical to each other.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A video streaming playback apparatus and method thereof are provided to support a playback mode which is composed of a trick mode and a random access mode by using key frame information within a segment. CONSTITUTION: An information description unit(110) describes information for a key frame of an image group which constitutes a segment.
