Abstract: PURPOSE: A collision testing apparatus for a vehicle is provided to perform a precise collision test for the vehicle by allowing an internal dummy to be moved along a route, which is realized when a vehicle accident occurs. CONSTITUTION: A collision testing apparatus includes a pair of rail blocks(1) installed at a bottom(10) of a laboratory. A sled(3) is installed on the rail blocks(1) such that the sled(3) moves in forward and reverse directions along the rail blocks(1). A testing vehicle(5) equipped with a testing dummy(11) is installed on the sled(3). A shock tester(9) is provided in front of the sled(3) so as to reproduce pulse. A hydraulic pressure generating unit is provided at a front end of the sled(3) so as to generate hydraulic pressure when the shock tester(9) is initially operated.
