Abstract: Supporting transmission of multiple hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgments (HARQ-ACKS) within a single slot may include encoding a first HARQ-ACK and a second HARQ-ACK within the single slot for transmission to a base station. The first HARQ-ACK may be transmitted via a first physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) and the second HARQ-ACK may be transmitted via a second PUCCH. Based on encoding the first HARQ-ACK and the second HARQ-ACK within the single slot, one or more additional uplink (UL) signals colliding with at least one of the first HARQ-ACK and the second HARQ-ACK within the single slot may be responded to based on a configuration of the UE.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) device is disclosed. The UE device comprises a processor configured to perform operations comprising receiving a downlink control information (DCI) from a base station. In some embodiments, the DCI comprises an indication to trigger a Type-3 hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) acknowledgement (ACK) feedback signal. The operations further comprise generating the Type-3 HARQ ACK feedback signal, based on processing the DCI. In some embodiments, the Type-3 HARQ ACK feedback signal comprises one or more HARQ-ACK bits for semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) release (s). In some embodiments, each of the one or more HARQ-ACK bits for SPS PDSCH release (s) is adapted to include HARQ-ACK information for an SPS PDSCH release associated with the UE. Further, the operations comprise sending the Type-3 HARQ-ACK feedback signal to the base station.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) associated with a wireless communication system is disclosed. The UE comprises a processor configured to receive a first downlink control information (DCI) for scheduling a first physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH). The first DCI includes a non-numerical (NN) value of K1 for hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) -ACK feedback. The processor is further configured to determine a first priority class associated with the first PDSCH, and determine K1 value and priority class associated with one or more subsequent PDSCH received from the BS, until a selected PDSCH having a numerical K1 value and a same priority class as the first priority class is identified. Further, the processor is configured to provide HARQ-ACK feedback associated with the first PDSCH using a PUCCH/PUSCH occasion indicated by a second DCI scheduling the selected PDSCH.

Abstract: A user equipment is configured to connect to a base station (BS) over a shared channel subject to channel access operations. The UE receives a first configuration for a BS-initiated fixed frame period (FFP) (BS-FFP) and a second configuration for a UE-initiated FFP (UE-FFP), determines that no downlink (DL) transmissions are detected during a predefined time of the BS-FFP and determines that at least one condition associated with an uplink (UL) transmission is satisfied. When no downlink (DL) transmissions are detected during the predefined time of the BS-FFP and the at least one condition is satisfied, the UE performs a UE-initiated channel access operation. When the UE-initiated channel access operation is successful, the UE performs the UL transmission during the UE-FFP.

The UE receives, from the serving cell, a measurement configuration message indicating the UE is to measure CSI-RS from a target cell of the network, wherein the measurement configuration message does not include Synchronization Signal Block (SSB) information for the target cell but further comprises an indication of whether the target cell transmits SSBs. The UE determines, based on at least the measurement configuration message, a time and frequency resource on which the CSI-RS of the target cell are to be transmitted and measures the CSI-RS of the target cell.

Abstract: Systems and methods disclosed herein describe the use of synchronization signal/physical broadcast channel block measurement time configuration (SMTC) 2 low power (SMTC2-LP) configuration (s). For cell measurements, a UE may determine that an SMTC2-LP configuration for one or more carriers of one or more target cells is known, determine a periodicity of SMTC occasions of the carrier (s) based on data found in the SMTC2-LP configuration (s), and cancel a cell measurement of an inter-frequency cell based at least in part on the periodicity of the SMTC occasion (s). For cell re-selection, a UE may determine that an SMTC2-LP configuration for a carrier being used at a target cell is known and that a physical cell identity (PCI) of the target cell is found in data of the SMTC2-LP configuration, determine a maximum paging interruption time using this periodicity, and perform a cell reselection to the target cell within this time.

The UE performs radio resource management (RRM) measurements on the serving cell, determines whether the UE satisfies power saving criteria for a first, second, or third mobility scenario while in a Radio Resource Control (RRC) idle state or RRC inactive state, wherein, when the UE is in the first or second mobility scenario, the UE performs RRM measurements with longer intervals relative to RRM measurements performed in a non-power-saving mode and wherein, when the UE is in the third scenario, the UE performs RRM measurements for neighbor cells with longer intervals relative to RRM measurements performed in a non-power-saving mode and determines a UE RRM configuration when the UE transitions from any of the power saving scenarios or the non-power-saving mode to any other power saving scenarios or the non-power-saving mode.

One example embodiment employable in a User Equipment (UE) is configured to: determine Hybrid Automatic Repeat reQuest-Acknowledgment (HARQ-ACK) information; generate a PUCCH for a BandWidth Part (BWP) based at least in part on the HARQ-ACK information, wherein the PUCCH has an EPF; determine a PUCCH resource for the PUCCH and a first PRB index for the PUCCH, wherein the PUCCH resource is determined based at least in part on an index of a first Control Channel Element (CCE) of an associated Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH) and a number of CCEs in a Control Resource Set (CORESET) of the associated PDCCH; and map the PUCCH to at least one PUCCH interlace based on the PUCCH resource and the first PRB index for the PUCCH.
