    Abstract: En un proceso para la preparacion continua de ésteres de alquilo de ácido (met)acrílico haciendo reaccionar el ácido (met)acrílico con alcanoles que tienen de 1 a 8 átomos de carbono en una fase homogénea, líquida exenta de solvente a temperatura elevada y en presencia de un catalizador de esterificacion deácido, en donde el ácido (met)acrílico, el alcanol y el catalizador ácido se alimentan hacia una zona de reaccion, el agua formada se remueve mediante rectificacion durante un tiempo de permanencia como un constituyente de la mezcla que comprende alcohol de partida en una unidad (III) de rectificacion sobrepuesta en la zona de reaccion, el producto destilado obtenido se separa en una fase orgánica que comprende alcanol y una fase acuosa que comprende agua, la fase orgánica esencialmente se regresa completamente a la unidad (III) de rectificacion, la mezcla de reaccion se descarga desde la zona de reaccion y es transportada hacia una zona de separacion de destilacion que comprende unidades de rectificacion adicionales y en la ultima se separa el (met)acrilato de alquilo formado. a) el ácido (met)acrílico y el alcanol se hacen reaccionar en una relacion molar de 1:0.75 a 1:2, b) parte de la fase acuosa obtenida en la parte superior de la unidad (III) de rectificacion se hace regresar a la unidad o rectificacion, c) la mezcla de reaccion descargada de la zona de reaccion se alimenta a una unidad (I) de rectificacion adicional y en ésta, la mezcla de reaccion se separa en un producto (II) que comprende el catalizador y un producto (I) que comprende el éster de alquilo del ácido (met)acrílico, el alcanol restante y el ácido (met)acrílico restante, y d) el producto (I) se alimenta a una unidad (II) de rectificacion adicional y en ésta, el éster de alquilo del ácido (met)acrílico se separa del alcanol restante delácido (met) acrílico restante y el alcanol restante y el ácido (met)acrílico restante se regresan a la zona de reaccion.
