Abstract: Die vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren zur Bekämpfung unerwünschten Pflanzenwuchses an einer Pflanzenanbaustelle, wobei das Verfahren die folgenden Schritte umfasst: Bereitstellen, an der Stelle, einer Pflanze, die mindestens eine Nukleinsäure umfasst, welche eine Nukleotidsequenz, die für eine Hydroxyphenylpyruvatdioxygenase vom Wildtyp oder eine mutierte Hydroxyphenylpyruvatdioxygenase (mut-HPPD), die gegenüber einem Cumaronderivatherbizid resistent oder tolerant ist, codiert und/oder eine Nukleotidsequenz, die für eine Homogentisatsolanesyltransferase vom Wildtyp oder eine mutierte Homogentisatsolanesyltransferase (mut-HST), die gegenüber einem Cumaronderivatherbizid resistent oder tolerant ist, codiert, umfasst, und Aufbringen einer wirksamen Menge dieses Herbizids auf diese Stelle. Die Erfindung bezieht sich weiterhin auf mut-HPPD umfassende Pflanzen und Verfahren zur Gewinnung solcher Pflanzen.
