    Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce the load of a microcomputer and also to simplify the constitution of the output control software, by forming the memory parts and input/ output ports on the same chip and delivering the selected data within memory parts directly to the input/output ports. CONSTITUTION:Input/output ports PA0-PC0 and PA1-PC1 and memory parts RAM0-n-RAM7-n are formed on the same semiconductor chip. Command registers Cont0 and Cont1 define the inputs and outputs of said input/output ports. The parts RAM0-n-RAM7-n store data and also transfer data selectively to the ports PA0-PC0 and PA1-PC1 by the commands supplied to registers Cont0 and Cont1.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To increase number of time division without decreasing an image forming speed by disposing microshutter group which sandwiches a liquid crystal between a substrate provided with plural segment electrodes and a substrate provided with a common electrode into the optical path for exposure. CONSTITUTION:An FET formed on the substrate 301 is provided with a gate electrode 302 connected to a gate line, a source electrode 303 connected to a data line and a drain electrode 304 for taking out a data signal. The electrode 304 is connected to the segment electrodes 307 forming a shutter part. The resistance of an a-Si film 305 decreases and the electrodes 303 and 304 are made conducting when a scanning signal is impressed to the electrode 302. The liquid crystal element is formed by sandwiching the N-P type liquid crystal between the substrate 301 and the counter substrate 311 in the orientation state and a transparent common electrode 312, a light shielding film 314 and an orientation control film 315 are provided on the substrate 311. The liquid crystal shutter array consisting of such element is disposed in the optical path for exposure via orthogonal polarizing plates 319, 320, by which the number of time division is increased without decreasing the image forming speed.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable to print multiple gradations at high speed by a matrix driving system by providing an LED array driving circuit comprising a means for repeating similar n-time-division driving at least two times for the same row when producing picture elements for one row. CONSTITUTION:A data (image) signal D, in which gradation data expressing the density of each picture element by 2 bits are provided in parallel, is fed in syncronism with a clock signal Clk while a data enable signal EN is ''1''. When performing n-time-division m-picture-element simultaneous production in accordance with a one-row amount of the image signal, m-picture elements are simultaneously produced in a period of time which is not equal to 1/n of the period of time required for producing one row of picture elements but equal to 1/(jXn) of said period, wherein (j) is an integer of 2 or more, and the one row of the picture elements are produced by repeating (j) times the n-time-division m- picture-element simultaneous production. In addition, the turning-ON and turning- OFF of LEDs are controlled at each time of the n-time-division m-picture-element simultaneous production in accordance with the gradation data indicating the density of each picture element.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To execute high speed printing by employing a matrix driving system by proving an LED array driving circuit having a device to repeat similar (n) time-division driving to the same row at least two times to form picture elements for a row's share. CONSTITUTION:When picture elements for a row are formed by simultaneous forming of 4 times of n time division (m) picture elements, data signal D of data for a row's share is sent to a section in which data enable signal EN is ''1'' synchronizing to a clock signal C1k continuously in a time at least less than 1/4 of data signal transmission period for a row. When the data enable signal rises, a timing generator 901 clears the address of controlling signal to a memory 902 to ''0'' by a writing mode, and sets a controlling signal 905 to switch a selector 904 to data signal D side. Thus, by storing picture data for a row's share in the memory 902, and reading repeatedly picture data for a row's share, picture elements for a row's share are formed by plural times of n time division m picture element simultaneous forming.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain an image having always necessary contrast and a sharp hard copy by mounting freely attachably and detachably a reflecting layer to the rear of a liquid phase display surface and enabling disposition of a light source according to need. CONSTITUTION:A freely openable and closable original retaining plate 2 is disposed to the peak surface of a copying machine body 1 a liquid crystal display plate 3 of a transmission type is attached in the position of the plate 2 coinciding with an original placing part 4. A supporting block 7a is attached to the copying machine body side and one end thereof is moved to the peak surface of the copying machine. A light source 7 such as a fluorescent lamp, halogen lamp or the like is freely turnably attached to said end. If the display device is constituted in the above-mentioned way, the image having always necessary contrast and the sharp hard copy are obtd.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To observe a distinct picture in a position in which a contrast ratio is large by holding independently at plural positions an angle to an original placing part on a display surface for displaying a picture which appears and disappears freely. CONSTITUTION:An angle adjusting member 9 of a projecting shape is formed as one body in one end part of a connecting part side to a copying machine body 1 of an original holding plate 2 provided with a liquid crystal display surface 3, and grooves 9a-9c are provided on suitable parts of its outside circumference. On the other hand, a long groove 2b is formed in the edge part of the side being near the body 1 of the holding plate 2, and a triangular engaging frame 10 is placed so as to be freely oscillatable in the vicinity of the opening part of its lower end. Also, an operating lever 12 is installed to the inside of the long groove 2b, and the tip of a rod body 11 attached to the operating lever 12 is connected to the engaging frame 10. The engaging frame 10 is pressed by a spring 13, engaged with one of the grooves 9a-9c of the member 9, and half- fixes the holding plate 2 and the display surface 3.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a latent image forming device which can reproduce medium contrast with high reliability by providing shutter arrays consisting of many liquid crystal microshutters between a light source and a latent image carrying body and driving independently said arrays. CONSTITUTION:Plural shutter arrays (SA) 104A, B are superposedly disposed between a light source 101 and a latent image carrying body 102. The SA104A, B are arrayed with many liquid crystal microshutters (MS) in both directions thereof. The mutual MS correspond 1 to 1 between the plural SA104A, B so that the SA104A, B are independently driven. The SA104A, B are formed by sandwiching a field effect type liquid crystal 19 between transparent base plates 2a, 2b, 12a, 12b provided with uniform transparent electrode films 4, 14 and a transparent base plate 12a provided with transparent electrode films 13a, 13b, 13c separated from each other in accordance with the individual MS and sandwiching further the same with polarizing plates 7, 8, 17, 18 having the relation of crossed nicols with the plates 2a, 2b, 12a, 12b. The polarizing directions of the polarizing plates facing the adjacent SA in tight contact with each other are made the same.

CONSTITUTION:When a data is inputted to a data inputting means 3 by operating a keyboard 31, an information signal is outputted to a display means 2 through a signal line 4a in accordance with a program stored in a memory 38. On the other hand, this information signal is outputted simultaneously through a signal line 4a to a control sytem 8 of a copying machine 1, too, becomes a copy preparing command, and a copy preparing process is started. Accordingly, when it is desired to convert a picture displayed on the display means 2 to a hard copy, a detecting switch 1d becomes on if only the display means 2 is laid down onto an original placing plate glass, its signal becomes a copy start command to the control system 8, and a copy process can be executed immediately.

If one row is to be expressed by M picture elements, M LEDs are used and M/N-bit shift registers are used as respective shift registers 33-1-33-n. Consequently, the data of one row are set up in the shift registers 33-1-33-n by applying the data of M/N pulses to data lines Data 1-Data N synchronously with a clock signal on a clock line OCK. At the timing, a pulse is applied to a strobing line OLG and the data of one row are latched to turn on/off respective LEDs 30.
