The relationship between a maximum cylinder within a circle of 20 mm radius centered on the geometrical center of the lens and the distance from the center to a point inside the circle or maximum cylinder is less than or equal to half the maximum inclination of the mean sphere on the main meridian of progression.

A line bisecting the angle forms an angle of less than 5 degrees, and pref under 2 degrees with a vertical.
