    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire a lens having excellent optical characteristic and suitable for a person who wears spectacles for astigmatism by correcting a working lens so that a difference between the power of the working lens and the power of a target lens and a difference between the residual astigmatism and the astigmatism of the target lens may be minimized. SOLUTION: The working lens is corrected so that the difference between the power of the working lens and the power of the target lens and the difference between the residual astigmatism and the astigmatism of the target lens may be minimized in a reference frame related to an eye in plural line-of-sight directions corresponding to a point (j) on a top sphere and defined by using spherical coordinates by two angles. The residual astigmatism is defined as the difference between the prescribed astigmatism and the astigmatism generated by the working lens with respect to amplitude and an axial center in the reference frame related to the eye and in the respective line-of-sight directions.

    Abstract: a presente invenção se refere a um método implementado por meios de computador para otimizar a posição de uma lente óptica a ser fabricada em uma lente em bruto, em que a lente óptica é fabricada por usinagem de pelo menos duas superfícies da lente em bruto, o método compreendendo: - uma etapa de fornecimento de dados da lente em bruto durante a qual são fornecidos dados da lente em bruto relativos à primeira superfície, à segunda superfície e à superfície periférica da lente em bruto; - uma etapa de fornecimento de dados da lente óptica durante a qual são fornecidos dados da lente óptica relativos à primeira superfície, à segunda superfície e à superfície periférica da lente óptica; - uma etapa de posicionamento durante a qual a lente óptica é virtualmente posicionada na lente em bruto em uma posição de forma que pelo menos uma de entre a primeira superfície óptica e a segunda superfície óptica é incluída na referida lente em bruto; - uma etapa de avaliação durante a qual é avaliada uma função de custo do prisma de fabricação, em que a função de custo do prisma de fabricação corresponde a uma soma ponderada do primeiro prisma de fabricação a ser usado quando a lente em bruto é bloqueada na segunda superfície para processar a primeira superfície óptica e do segundo prisma de fabricação a ser usado quando a lente em bruto é bloqueada na primeira superfície óptica para processar a segunda superfície óptica, em que a etapa de posicionamento e a etapa de avaliação são repetidas de forma a minimizar a função de custo do prisma de fabricação.

This ergorama supplies a power target for a definition by optimisation of the lenses, and is used in a radii plotting programme for calculating the optical characteristics during optimisation. The set of lenses has substantially identical optical performances for a given addition, whatever the power of the far vision reference point.
