Abstract: The method serves for automatic checking of the availability of technical equipment which is arranged in or at a building and executes at least one repeatable procedure, and comprises the following steps. There is determined at least one estimated value (NS(i,t)) for the frequency of the performance of the procedure for a first time period and/or second estimated value (NS(i,t+&Dgr;t)) for the frequency of the performance of the procedure for a second time period. A measured value Nm(i,t)) for the frequency of the performance of the procedure for the first time period is determined and the measured value is compared with at least one of the estimated values (NS(i,t), NS(i,t+&Dgr;t)). If the measured value (Nm(i,t)) is smaller by a predetermined amount (NS(i,t)−Nmin(i,t), &Dgr;Ns) than the respective estimated value (NS(i,t), NS(i,t+&Dgr;t)) at least one test of the technical equipment is carried out, in which test at least one reaction of the technical equipment is registered and compared with a target reaction, wherein in the case of availability of the technical equipment the reaction corresponds with the target reaction.

Con esta información, la unidad de control define como mínimo un piso designado (14) durante la situación de emergencia. Después, el sistema evacua a los ocupantes del edificio con la cabina de ascensor y /o una escalera desde la zona de evacuación hasta el piso designado.

El programa llega desde el terminal a un control de programa (1) con un gestor de programa (5) que completa los programas (2) de todos los terminales (4) con datos precisos para la ejecución y los almacena en una memoria (6). El gestor de programa inicia la ejecución de los programas de usuario con un interpretador (7) que los interpreta paso a paso. Si hay instrucciones específicas, por ejemplo de marcha o de apertura de puertas, el interpretador (7) llama a una interfaz (8), que continua la ejecución a través de un control de ascensor (9).

Abstract: A method and a system for emergency evacuation of building occupants and to a method for modernization of an existing building with the evacuation system. The system is used in a multi-story building having a plurality of floors and with at least one elevator positionable at selected landings of the floors. A first device is provided for measuring the number of persons in the building and a second device is provided for detecting an emergency condition in the building. At least one control unit is provided for determining or for estimating a number of building occupants in the building. The control unit defines at least one evacuation zone in the building during the emergency condition. Based on this information, the control unit defines at least one designated floor in the building during the emergency condition. Then the system evacuates the building occupants with the elevator car and/or a stairway from the evacuation zone to the designated floor.
