Abstract: PURPOSE:To smoothly remove a packing sheet after cutting it off, by jetting compressed air from a plurality of jet-nozzles to a specified direction after cutting off the upper side of time packing sheet, in a packing method in which a packing article is fed from the upper side and the packing sheet is wrung to envelop the article. CONSTITUTION:A spherical packing article like a cabbage is dropped into the opening formed on a packing base. A packing sheet 1 is constricted at the outer edge of the opening to envelop the article which is supported from the underside by a vertically movable support bed 3. In the lowering motion of this support bed 3, when it is judged that the article A has passed through the position of a pair of holding members 14, 15, the holding members 14, 15 are closed to each other to wring the upper part 1a of the packing sheet 1. Hereafter, the upper part 1a is cut off by a cutter 28 on a horizontally movable frame 22. The upper part 1a is blown off after cutting off by the compressed air from the first and the second jet nozzles 16, 17 leaving a slanting upward jetting direction and a horizontal jetting direction respectively.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To mechanize rootcrop harvesting work to the utmost because the conventional work is such a hard labor as to pull rootcrops off the farm with one's body bent. CONSTITUTION:The objective structure made up of (A) a pulling section 1 to pull rootcrops from the ground by gripping their leaves through the front 11a of a pair of left and right conveying belts driven tilted up in the rear and (B) the rear of said pair of belts and a pair of left and right chains with rollers located thereunder. A conveyor 2 having the following mechanism is provided: the upper part of the leaves is held and conveyed through driving the conveying belt 11 while guiding the lower part of the leaves in-between the chains and the rootcrops from the pulling section are thus conveyed backward. The slope of the chains up in the rear is made milder than that of the belts 11, and the leaf-holding force for the pair of the conveyor belt rears 11b is set so as to allow the rootcrops to make a slipping movement downward from the belts 11 after the upper surface of the rootcrop body comes into contact with the rollers.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent a part of packaging sheet (particularly the constricted part) from projecting after wrapping farm products and effect its packaging accurately in a device for automatically packaging spherical farm products such as lettuce and cabbage. CONSTITUTION:When the article to be packaged is dropped into a hole 2a of a packaging stand 2 having packaging sheet 1 laid thereon, the packaging sheet 1 is narrowed by the outer periphery of the hole 2a to wrap the article thereon and the article thus wrapped is supported on a supporting stand 3 below. The upper part of the packaging sheet 1 having the article wrapped therein on the supporting stand 3 is pressed closely sideways by a pair of compressing members 14 so as to be constricted and the part of the packaging sheet above this constricted part is cut off by a cutting mechanism 26. An adhesive tape 4 is thereafrer applied to the upper end of the constricted part to fix firmly the packaging sheet 1. The side edges of the compressing members 14 are so shaped as to make difficult the sticking thereto of the adhesive tape 4.

In this constitution, the crops (a) which are transported on the transport conveyor 10 of the alignment part 3 can be securely separated piecewise by means of the discharging tool 16, resulting in precise and smooth operation of the post process such as weighing.

Because a single lengthy vegetable (a) is carried on the apparatus 9, picked up by the catching member 14 and sent out as it slips down on the weighing convey belt 4 with its dead weight while the catching member 14 is in the upward inclining position, crops can be carried out without being jammed up and, moreover, accurately one by one.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the piling up of crops, by making crop transporting parallel transport conveyor transport directions mutually opposite, and providing an inclination guide portion at the terminal portion of each conveyor, and guiding crops to a lower stream conveyor. CONSTITUTION:The transport directions of plural endless conveyor 14 of a crop transport portion 4 are made to be mutually opposite, and the conveyors 14 are provided in parallel. An inclination guide portion is fitted to each conveyor 14 lower stream end portion, and crops (a) are transferred to an adjoining conveyor 14 upper stream end portion. The width size of conveyors 14 is so set that it becomes narrower as conveyors 14 are located at lower stream positions. Crops which are coming down sideways via an inclination plate 8 from a wide conveyor 13 at the upper stream of an entrance 15, are aligned lengthwise at the entrance 15, and enter into the uppermost stream conveyor 14, and are transferred onto adjoining conveyors 14 in order, and lastly discharged through an outlet 16 one by one. As a result, crops are separated one by one for sure, and sorting at the next process is easily conducted.

In an initial condition in which the long size vegetables (a) are filled in the hopper 2, only rollers 13 in the vicinity of the side end parts of the outlet port 2a are driven, and the number of driven rollers 13 is successively increased as the storage quantity of the vegetables (a) decreases. Accordingly, the stack of the vegetables (a) are gradually collapsed from its both ends while the vegetables (a) are delivered, and the vegetables (a) extended over the entire width of the lower part of the hopper 2 are prevented from simultaneously moving, so that no clogging at the outlet port 2a occurs, thereby it is possible to surely convey the vegetables without they being damaged.

SOLUTION: This structure for transporting the grain culms of the combine harvester is obtained by forming a front transporting area 11x composing a first ear tip engaging and transporting mechanism, an intermediate transporting area 11y receiving the reaped grain culms from a second ear tip engaging and transporting mechanism 90 and a rear transporting area 11z for engaging and transporting the joined reaped grain culms of all the rows in an engaging and transporting mechanism 11B and setting the tilt angle from the front and rear directions of the machine body in the respective transporting areas so as to successively decrease in the decreasing order from the front transporting area 11x, intermediate transporting area 11y and rear transporting area 11z.
