Abstract:
It is disclosed a method for utilizing LADN in a wireless communication system and an apparatus for the same. Particularly, the method of establishing a protocol data unit (PDU) session for a local area data network (LADN) service by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system may include transmitting to an Access and mobility Management Function (AMF), a registration request including information for informing a request of LADN information for the LADN service; receiving, from the AMF, a registration accept for informing that the registration request is accepted, the registration accept including the LADN information; and establishing a PDU session for the LADN service by performing a PDU session establishment procedure.
Abstract:
One disclosure of the present specification provides a method in which an access and mobility management function (AMF) node processes a packet data unit (PDU) session establishment procedure. The method may include a step of determining whether to reject a PDU session establishment request or not. Here, the determining step may be performed when the PDU session establishment request includes an identifier of an existing PDU session. On the basis of the identifier of the existing PDU session, an identifier of a session management function (SMF) node may be obtained. If it is determined that the SMF node and the AMF node both belong to the same public land mobile network (PLMN) on the basis of the identifier of the SMF node, the PDU session establishment request can be accepted. If it is determined that the SMF node and the AMF node both belong to a home PLMN (HPLMN) on the basis of the identifier of the SMF node, the PDU session establishment request can be accepted.
Abstract:
One disclosure of the present specification provides a method for a terminal creating a session, the terminal supporting next-generation mobile communication. The method may comprise the steps of: determining that a session must be newly created if the creation of a session is not included in a process of attaching to a core network of a next-generation mobile communication; on the basis of service type information, determining that the session being newly created needs to be always-on, or in other words, always-connected; and transmitting, to a control plane (CP) function node for managing the session, a connectivity request message including information indicating that the session that needs to be always-on, or in other words, always-connected, has been requested.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for performing a connection resumption procedure by a network node in a wireless communication system is disclosed. The method includes: receiving a message including a tracking area update request (TAU request) of a user equipment (UE) from an eNodeB (eNB), wherein the message includes a result of determining a validity on whether connection resumption of the UE is possible by the eNB; determining if an E-RAB (E-UTRAN Radio Access Bearer) setup for the UE is required; and determining a message to be transmitted to the eNB depending on whether the E-RAB setup for the UE is required and/or whether the connection resumption of the UE is possible.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a method for controlling a congestion in a wireless communication system and a device for same. More particularly, a method for executing a congestion control by a network node in a wireless communication system can comprise the steps of: detecting the congestion of one or more dedicated core networks (DCN) served by the network node; receiving a non-access stratum (NAS) request message from user equipment (UE); obtaining subscription information, which includes a UE usage type of the UE, from a home subscriber server (HSS); selecting a DCN for serving the UE based on the UE usage type; and, when the DCN for serving the UE is a DCN of which the congestion has been detected, transmitting to the UE a NAS reject message, which includes a backoff timer of the selected DCN, as a response to the NAS request message.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a method for supporting extended idle mode discontinuous reception activation in a wireless communication system, and an apparatus therefor. Specifically, the method for supporting extended idle mode discontinuous reception (eDRX) activation in a wireless communication system comprises the steps of: when a triggering condition for a tracking area update (TAU) procedure is satisfied, transmitting, by a terminal, a TAU request message to a mobility management entity (MME); and receiving, by the terminal, a TAU accept message from the MME in response to the TAU request message, wherein, while the terminal has a packet data network (PDN) connection for providing an emergency bearer service, an eDRX parameter is negotiated between the terminal and the MME, using the TAU request message and the TAU accept message, but the eDRX may not be used by the terminal.
Abstract:
One embodiment of the present invention relates to a method for providing, by a relay UE, a broadcast service in a wireless communication system, the method comprising the steps of: detecting a TMGI; and broadcasting TMGI announcement comprising the detected TMGI and a ProSe layer-2 group ID corresponding to the TMGI.
Abstract:
According to an aspect of the present invention, a method for adjusting a Periodic-Tracking Area Update (P-TAU) timing performed by a user equipment in a wireless communication system may include transmitting P-TAU support information indicating that an adjustment of the P-TAU timing is available to a Mobility Management Entity (MME) through an Attach request message or a TAU request message; receiving a request accept message with respect to the Attach request message or the TAU request message; and adjusting the P-TAU timing in accordance with an eDRX application timing based on the P-TAU timing adjustment condition information when the request accept message includes the -TAU timing adjustment condition information.
