    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the heating capacity from lowering when constant condensing pressme control is done in the heating operation using a nonazeotropic refrigerant in a multiroom type cooling/heating apparatus. SOLUTION: There are provided a bypass 17 connecting a first two way type valve 14, receiver tank 15, and second two way type valve 16, a suction pressure-temperature detective means 21 for detecting the suction pressure and temperature, a degree of superheat-of-suction calculating means 22 for calculating the degree of superheat of the suction on the basis of the result of detection, a degree of superheat-of-suction judging means 23 which judges by comparing the calculated result with a set degree of superheat, and a two way type valve-driving means 24 which drives the first two way type valve 14 and the second two way type valve 16 on the basis of the result of the judgment. As a result, in heating operation using a nonazeotropic refrigerant even the control of the operation in a manner of constant condensing pressure control does not involve a lowering in heating capacity, thus enabling the heating capacity to be secured as desired.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent circulating refrigerant from generating change in composition even when excessive refrigerant is generated in a cycle by a method wherein non-azeotropic mixture refrigerant is employed for refrigerant and the operating result of a suction superheating degree operating means is compared with a predetermined set superheating degree while first and second two-way valves are driven to regulate the opening times thereof based on the deciding result of the comparison. SOLUTION: Non-azeotropci mixture refrigerant is employed for refrigerant and a suction superheating degree is operated based on a suction pressure, detected by a suction pressure sensor 18, and a suction temperature, detected by a suction temperature sensor 19. The result of operation is compared with a predetermined set superheating degree by a suction superheating degree deciding means 24. First and second two-way valves 14, 16 are driven by a two-way valve driving means 25 based on the result of decision of comparison and the opening time of the valves 14, 16 are regulated by a valve opening means 26. According to this method, circulating refrigerant can be prevented from the change of composition even when excessive refrigerant is generated in a cycle.

CONSTITUTION: This air conditioner is comprised of a temperature sensor 17 for sensing an inlet path temperature of an outdoor side heat exchanger 5, a defrosting operation control means 14 for judging a frosted condition of the outdoor side heat exchanger 5 and outputting a defrosting operation starting completion signal and an indoor or outdoor monitoring means 20 for monitoring if indoor devices 7a to 7c reach their own target temperatures and not starting the defrosting operation until all the indoor devices reach their target temperatures.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent a refrigerant flowing in a refrigerant conveying device from being brought into a two-phase by providing a detecting means for an indoor unit and a conveying device and providing a drive means for causing the start of cooling operation of a stop outdoor unit based on output signals from an outdoor unit and a means for measuring a refrigerant circulating amount. CONSTITUTION:It is judged by an operation output door unit deciding means 21 based on an output signal from an operation outdoor unit detecting means 18 which outdoor units K or K' is under operation. Further, it is judged by a refrigerant amount deciding means 22 based on output signals from a conveying device pressure detecting means 19 and an outdoor unit pressure detecting means 20 whether or not a refrigerant circulation amount is in short supply. Based on output signals from the operation outdoor unit means 21 and the refrigerant amount deciding means 22, the outdoor unit K or K' under a stop is caused to start cooling operation by a drive means 23. As a result, though the outdoor units K and K' under cooling operation is situated in a position lower than that of a refrigerant conveying device 12, a refrigerant flowing in the refrigerant conveying device 12 is prevented from being brought into a two- phase.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prolong the service life of a refrigerant pump by a method wherein an auxiliary pump unit is provided between an indoor machine and an outdoor machine and a difference between a detected inlet pressure and a detected outlet pressure is operated to drive the refrigerant pump of the auxiliary pump unit and close a refrigerant bypass valve when the operated difference is higher than a predetermined value. CONSTITUTION:An auxiliary pump unit 27, constituted of the second four-way valve 22, the second refrigerant pump 23, the second refrigerant amount regulating tank 24, the refrigerant pump bypass 25 and the refrigerant pump bypass valve 26 of an utilizing side refrigerant cycle, is arranged on the half way between an indoor machine 12 and an outdoor machine 10. The control device 28 of an auxiliary pump unit 27 is provided while the inlet pressure and the outlet pressure of a first refrigerant pump 17 are detected by pressure sensors 18, 19 and detecting means 29, 30 respectively. A differential pressure detecting means 31 operates the difference of both pressures. When the pressure difference excesses a first predetermined value, the second refrigerant pump 23 is driven until the pressure difference becomes lower than a second predetermined value and the bypass valve 26 is closed. According to this method, the life of the first refrigerant pump 17 is elongated and properties, coping with a high lift and a long pipeline, are improved.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of heating capacity by a method wherein the control timing of an inverter controller, controlling a frequency in accordance with a pressure in a pipeline between an indoor machine and a four-way valve, is deviated from the control timing of a controller, controlling the opening degree of the expansion valve of an outdoor machine in accordance with a refrigerant temperature in another pipeline between the indoor machine and the electric expansion valve of the outdoor machine. CONSTITUTION:Upon starting operation, a pressure detector 13 detects a pressure and compares it with a set pressure. When the detected pressure is higher, an inverter controller 14 reduces the operating frequency of a variable capacity compressor 2 but when the detected pressure is lower, the inverter controller 14 increases the operating frequency of the same. After a time DELTAT has elapsed, a refrigerant temperature detector 16 detects the temperatures of liquid tubes 11 of outdoor machines 7a-7d and compares them with a set temperature. When the detected temperature is higher, an outdoor machine side electric expansion valve 5 is closed by the expansion valve controller 17 of the outdoor machine 1 by a predetermined opening degree but when the detected temperature is lower, the expansion valve is opened by a predetermined opening degree. Indoor machine side electric expansion valves 8a-8d are controlled independently from the outdoor machine 1. According to this method, overcooling degree is controlled under a condition that a condensing pressure is stabilized whereby the operation of the title machine can be controlled optimally under a normal operation and an excessive operation.
