    Abstract: PURPOSE:To exactly track individual beams onto the center line of tracks by changing the deflecting direction of the light of mirrors arranged in correspondence to a semiconductor laser, making the exit direction of the individual beams of the multibeams respectively independently controllable. CONSTITUTION:The plural laser beams from the semiconductor laser are reflected by a multimirror deflector 102. This multimirror deflector 102 is arranged with the moving mirrors 302a, 302b and 302c, 302d at prescribed intervals symmetrically with a stationary mirror Part 306 as a center line on a substrate 305. These mirrors are rotated around a suspension 301 by applying a voltage to electrodes 303. Then, the tracking error signals detected independently by the respective mirrors from the reflection spots of the laser beams are fed back to the servo system of the respective mirrors, by which the respective individual mirrors are controlled and driven in desired directions and the respective spots are exactly tracked to the tracks on the disk.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide the information recording and reproducing device which not only enables recording at a high density but also enables taking of a high transfer rate and a drastic cost reduction. CONSTITUTION:The slider 6 formed by integrating a cantilever 7 and a chip 8 with a slider body 60 is used as the information recording and reproducing mechanism of the information recording and reproducing device. The slider 6 is disposed on a circular substrate 10 which is a disk and is floated by the aerodynamic effect according to the rotation of the substrate 10. The cantilever 7 is constituted by laminating, successively from a lower side, an electrode layer 11 for STM signals, an insulating film 12, a piezoelectric electrode layer 13, a piezoelectric layer 14 and a piezoelectric electrode layer 15. Recording of information is executed by supplying large current to the chip 8. Reproduction is executed by detecting the tunnel current generated when the chip 8 is brought in proximity.

CONSTITUTION:A first base 101 and second base 111 provided opposite to each other are formed from semiconductor monocrystalline base materials, a cross movable needle 103 consisting of polysilicon both ends of which are fixed in the state where one needle is curved is formed in the central recessed part 102 of the first base main surface. Attractive parts 104a, 104b consisting of magnetic bodies are provided on the top end parts 103a, 103b of the other needle not fixed of the needle 103, and in opposition to this, attracting parts 106a, 106b consisting of U-shaped electromagnets are molded on the second base main surface. Movable contact layers 107a, 107b are formed on the needle 103 through an electric insulating film, and opening and closing is conducted between fixed contact layers 108a, 108b and 109a, 109b formed on the base 101 main surface.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a micro-relay whose driving force is great by making up mechanical elements of an electromagnetic magnet provided for a substrate and of a semi-conductor disposed opposite to the magnet, and concurrently furnishing them with each stationary and each movable contact layer respectively. CONSTITUTION:There are provided both electromagnetic magnets 1O2a and 1O2b which generate magnetic motive force acting as driving source, and sucking sections 115a and 115b made of magnetic substance formed over movable pieces 1O8a and 108b which are provided for a ceramic substrate 101 supporting the aforesaid magnets via a spacer 119. When DC voltage is applied to the magnets 102a and 102b, the sucking sections 115a and 115b are sucked up while movable pieces 108a and 108b are being deflected by magnet motive force. And stationary contact layers 106a and 1O6b, 107a and 1O7b formed in the main surface of a substrate 101, can thereby be opened/closed by means of movable contact layers 112a and 112b separately formed in the aforesaid movable pieces.

SOLUTION: This mirror is provided with a flexible member 2 having a reflection surface for reflecting an incident light, a reference surface substate 6 having a recessed and projecting surface 3 forming a space for permitting the elastic deformation of the flexible member 2, arranged oppositely to the rearside of the flexible member, stuck to the outer peripheral edge part of the flexible member 2 for supporting it and a silicon substrate 50 for holding the flexible member 2 with the reference surface substrate 6. In this case, in the deformable mirror for sticking the flexible member 2 to the recessed and projecting surface 3 and then deforming the flexible member 2, the opening part 53 of the reference surface substate 6 is formed to be an octagon.
