Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging apparatus and method capable of charging corresponding to a substantial use quantity of ink in a cartridge provided in a printer, and a computer readable program memory medium in which a program having a charging function is recorded. SOLUTION: A charge is made corresponding to the substantial use quantity of ink in a printer 5 performing printing by driving the cartridge 7 discharging ink.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To output privilege information which is valuable to a player as a privilege when a game stage is cleared. SOLUTION: A computer includes a video game software program main body and identification information. The identification information is used to acquire and print the privilege information corresponding with the game stage which is cleared by accessing to a service provider when the game stage of the video game being advanced conforming to the video game software program is cleared. The video game software program can be read and executed by the computer. From a video game program-recording medium in which the video game software program is recorded, the video game software program is read by the computer. The video game is advanced conforming to the video game software program. When the game stage of the video game is cleared, a player accesses to the service provider based on the identification information, and acquires the privilege information corresponding with the cleared game stage from the service provider. Then, privilege information acquired from the service provider is converted into printing data and printed.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit a person who is not skilled in a computer to execute work with a simple operation by synthesizing a picture through the use of private hardware. SOLUTION: The user selects a frame picture for inserting a photograph picture, it is read by a picture reader and is written into a first picture memory through a change-over switch. The written frame picture is held by a second picture memory through the change-over switch. The photograph picture for inserting it into the frame picture and synthesizing them is read and it is written into the first picture memory. When picture synthesis is instructed, the change- over switch is changed over in accordance with a character, a graphic and area designation information stored in a key signal memory. Picture data of the second picture memory is inserted into a picture insertion area '1' and picture data of the first picture memory is inserted into a picture insertion area '0'. Thus, the synthesized picture corresponding to a template which the user selects is displayed.
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To attain the correct scanning and reproduction of a rotary magnetic head on adjacent tracks at reproduction, by recording the information signal including a synchronizing signal on plural pairs of inclined magnetic tracks having different recording azimuths, in a digital VTR. CONSTITUTION:A reproducing signal from rotary magnetic heads H1, H2 is applied to bit synchronism circuits 21, 22 and PLLs 31, 32 via reproducing amplifiers 11, 12 respectively. The output of the synchronizing circuits and the PLLs is applied to block syncyronizing signal detection circuits 41, 42 respectively. A block synchronism signal in a reproduced digital video signal from the circuits 41, 42 is extracted and applied to a phase measuring circuit 5. An intermittent pulse signal having the pulse number in response to the time of the reproduced block synchronizing signal is generated at the circuit 5 and applied to a phase servo circuit 8 via a switch 6, the output controls the phase of a capstan motor 9 to attain the tracking control so that the heads H1, H2 scan the corresponding inclined track.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and surely solve a problem of mismatching related to the sizes of a scale and a photo when printing the images used for scrap booking in particular, in an image printer, and to provide an image printing method, a program for the image printing method and a recording medium recording a program for the image printing method. SOLUTION: A template selected by a user is overlapped on an image to be processed and displayed, and the relative positional relation between the image in the display and the template and the change in size of the image and/or the template are received and printing is performed. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a matter that recognition of information is difficult when extra data of the same color system is buried in a monochromatic image. SOLUTION: The color printer comprises (a) a section holding extra data for achromatic color image data, (b) a section for developing the extra data read out from the extra data holding section to bit map data, (c) a section holding chromatic color data for specifying the print color of the extra data, and (d) a section holding positional data for specifying the arranging position of the extra data. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein an error is easily generated as a result of visual observation because a region to be observed is apart from a position where a ruler is displayed. SOLUTION: The user interface display method to be provided comprises a process (a) of obtaining the size information indicating the relation between the pixel size and the actual size, a process (b) of detecting the position fixing operation for a pointer displayed on a control screen and generating a starting mark displayed at the fixed position, a process (c) of computing the pixel distance between the present position of the pointer and the display position of the starting mark, a process (d) of converting the computed pixel distance to the actual distance based on the size information, and a process (e) of generating the display of the distance corresponding to the computed actual distance. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer for surely discharging printed papers to a paper discharging tray by applying the printer to a printer which discharges supplied papers printed by a printing means to a predetermined paper discharging tray. SOLUTION: A rear end of the printed paper is dropped by a discharging auxiliary means 41 into the paper discharging tray 18, so that the paper rear end is prevented from staying at the discharging side of a transfer means 17. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording liquid for use in record on an object, liquid cartridge of filling the liquid, liquid-discharging cartridge for discharging the liquid onto the object, device and method for discharging the liquid, preventing an ink from non-discharge. SOLUTION: The ink 2 contains a hydrophobic colloid which normally has zeta potential of at most +10 mV, and when the pH of the ink 2 becomes 4-6, the zeta potential is charged to positive. Thereby elusion of silicon, silicon compounds, etc. into the ink 2 from a circuit board 42 composed of a silicon wafer etc., and deposition of the colloid onto a heating resistor 46 of negatively being charged, are suppressed, preventing causing of kogetion on the heating resistor 46 and non-discharge of the ink by clogging resulting from precipitation thereof in an ink passage 32 and in a nozzle 43a. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sustain liquid ejection performance of a liquid ejection head by providing a means for coating the nozzle surface with surfactant in a head cap for protecting the nozzle surface of the liquid ejection head. SOLUTION: In a head cartridge 3 comprising a print head 10 having a nozzle member 12 provided with a nozzle 13 for ejecting ink supplied from an ink tank 9 containing each color ink, and a head cap 11 fixed removably to the print head 10 to move relatively and protecting the nozzle surface 12a, a means 14 for coating the nozzle surface 12a with surfactant is provided in the head cap 11. Consequently, a film of surfactant is formed on the nozzle surface 12a while absorbing ink drops adhering thereto, thus sustaining ink ejection performance of the print head 10.
