Abstract:
Hydrophobic colloid charged so as to have positive zeta potential when the pH of ink (2) is in the range of 4 to 6 is contained in ink (2). Thus, dissolution of silicon, silicon compounds, etc. into ink (2) from circuit board (44) composed of silicon wafer, etc. can be inhibited. Further, deposition of silicon, silicon compounds, etc. having been dissolved in ink (2) on heating resistor (48) so as to cause kogation or deposition thereof in ink channel (42) or nozzle (45a) so as to cause clogging leading to ink ejection failure can be prevented.
Abstract:
An organic electroluminescence device that includes, between an anode 41 and a cathode 42, an organic layer stacked structure 43 that comprises stacked plural emitting layers that emit light of different colors, wherein the organic electroluminescent device comprises, between the emitting layers, at least one intermediate layer that comprises a compound represented by the following formula (1) in which at least one of Ar 1 , Ar 2 and Ar 3 is a group represented by the following formula (2):
Abstract:
An information providing system (1) includes an information apparatus (11) containing a medium type indicating a corresponding information type and having a setting function for setting a user identifier to specify a user who receives information provided and a connection function for connecting to a network, and an information server apparatus to which the information apparatus (11) is connected via the network. According to user profile data indicating information to be provided in accordance with the user identifier, database (23, 24) containing content data related to a medium type and an information genre, and a request from the information apparatus, the information server apparatus searches for and fetches content data from the database. The information apparatus (11) includes a request processing computer (21) for supplying the fetched data as content data of a corresponding medium type to the information apparatus (11). Thus, even an information apparatus having no sophisticated input apparatus can fetch information from the Internet and utilize it. Moreover, an information provider can provide information without being conscious what kind of apparatus a user uses for fetching information.
Abstract:
An ink fluid (2) suitably used in an inkjet printer for recording an image or a letter, which comprises a surfactant having an organic compound represented by the following chemical formula (1): [wherein m and n represent an integer of 1 or larger]. The ink can prevent the occurrence of a blur or fuzz around the impact point of an ink droplet (i), due to the incorporation of the above surfactant therein.
Abstract:
An organic electroluminescence device including: an anode; a cathode; two or more emitting units that are disposed between the anode and the cathode, each unit having an emitting layer; and a charge-generating layer that is disposed between the emitting units, wherein the charge-generating layer includes an N layer nearer to the anode and a P layer nearer to the cathode, and the N layer includes a compound represented by the following formula (I) or (II):
Abstract:
An organic electroluminescence device including: an anode; one or more organic thin film layers including an emitting layer; a donor-containing layer; an acceptor-containing layer; and a light-transmissive cathode in this order, wherein the donor-containing layer comprises a compound represented by the following formula (I) or (II):
Abstract:
A negative pressure generated inside a liquid-ejecting head can circulate liquid between the liquid-ejecting head and a liquid tank, prevent the liquid from leaking out of nozzles while the liquid is circulating, and remove bubbles contained in the liquid. A head cartridge includes a printhead ejecting ink from ink-ejecting nozzles formed in a nozzle plate of the printhead, an ink-supplying conduit supplying the ink from an ink tank to an ink chamber in the printhead, an ink-refluxing conduit refluxing the ink from the printhead to the ink tank, and a liquid-delivering pump disposed on: the ink-refluxing conduit and circulating the ink between the printhead and the ink tank. The liquid-delivering pump is driven to generate a negative pressure inside the printhead to circulate the ink between the printhead and the ink tank.
Abstract:
In an autochanger which can continuously operate a video printing apparatus without having recourse to intervention by an operator, a paper feed tray for containing a plurality of recording media and/or an ink ribbon cartridge are loaded in the video printer device such as to selectively change them as the occasion demands, and a magazine which can contain a plurality of paper feed trays and/or ink ribbon cartridges and a conveyance means of paper feed tray and/or ink ribbon cartridge for conveying the paper feed tray and/or the ink ribbon cartridge between the video printer device and the magazine, are provided. Therefore, the paper feed tray and the ink ribbon cartridge of the video printer device can be changed by the conveyance means as the occasion demands, so as to realize an autochanger which can continuously operate a video printer device without having recourse to intervention by an operator.

Abstract:
A digital video tape recorder (VTR) for use with an NTSC, PAL or SECAM television signal includes a reference signal generating circuit which generates a reference signal a frequency of 13.5 MHz; a first frequency dividing circuit (1/45045) for use with an NTSC television signal; a second frequency dividing circuit (1/45000) for use with a PAL or SECAM television signal; and a switch which supplies a first or second frequency control signal to a magnetic recording head for recording a pulse, the control signal at the lower edge of a magnetic tape for each of successive, parallel. tracks extending obliquely on the magnetic tape in which a television signal is recorded. A discriminator circuit detects whether the television signal to be recorded is NTSC, PAL or SECAM format and controls the switch to supply the appropriate control signal to the magnetic recording head.
