    Abstract: PURPOSE:To eliminate a torque ripple and to enhance the efficiency of a two- phase brushless motor by providing a demagnetizing interpole at the position of the specific angle from a pole inverting boundary of a main pole in a field formed with a portion which does not substantially generate a torque between main poles. CONSTITUTION:A 2-phase brushless motor is formed by opposing a rotor magnet having a field provided with an electroless pole 2 which does not effectively generate or weakens a torque along a rotating direction between main pole pairs N, S and a stator having an armature displaced at 180 deg. at the interval of two sides which contributes to the torque generation of 2-phase coil. In this case, an interpole 5 for demagnetizing a pole effective to generate a torque is provided at a position of approx. 90 deg. (gamma=90+ or -10 deg.) from the pole inverting boundary K of main pole pair. Thus, the reduction of the absolute torque is minimized to effectively reduce the torque ripple.

CONSTITUTION:Inside the main magnetic poles 8 of eight poles, the detecting magnetized section 9 of a pair of equal areas in N, S is formed. The magnetized section 9 consists of the right half S pole 9a and the left half N pole 9b. The areas of the N, S poles of a magnet 3 including the main magnetic poles 8 are equal to each other as a whole, and leakage flux due to the unequal areas is reduced.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve a torque ripple by providing an auxiliary pole having a reverse polarity to the main pole at the position of approx. + or -45 deg. of an electric angle from a boundary of detecting main poles near the opposing portions of a magneto-electric converter of a rotor. CONSTITUTION:A rotor 2 of a 3-phase brushless motor is produced by alternately magnetizing, for example, 8 N-poles and S-poles at a disc of a magnetic material as main poles 2a. Auxiliary poles 2b having reverse polarity to the pole 2a are magnetized at the positions of approx. + or -45 deg. of an electric angle from a boundary of the N-poles and S-poles of the outer periphery of the pole 2a. The poles 2b pass over a magneto-electric converter of a stator to decide a drive current by the composite signal of the converter to rotatably drive a motor. Thus, when the rotor 2 is rotated, the output signal waveforms of the converter is not saturated but becomes an abrupt waveform.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce the torque ripple of a brushless motor, by providing auxiliary poles changing the magnetized wave of a rotor magnet partly. CONSTITUTION:So far as a three phase brushless motor is concerned, three phase coils are arranged at an interval of an electrical angle 120 deg. multiplied by an integral number, and a rotor magnet M is magnetized in eight poles for example, and main poles 1S, 1N are organized so that they may alternately confront the torque action side in the radial direction of each coil. The respective coils are electrically conducted by switch elements every 120 deg. or every 180 deg. in succession. Then, on the center of the flux width in the rotary direction of the main poles 1S, 1N of the rotor magnet M (at any position of 30 deg., 90 deg., or 150 deg. off the range of the main poles), auxiliary poles 3N, 3S for reducing the effective flux of the main poles 1S, 1N partly are provided. Then, the peak position (90 deg. and 270 deg.) for flux distribution of sine wave form is greatly concaved, and the synthesized torque ripple can be greatly reduced.
