Abstract: PURPOSE:To make a talk of good quality without any interference at any time by providing a cordless telephone, etc., with a channel switch for changing speech channels when a subscriber feels interference. CONSTITUTION:A handset 1 is provided with the channel switch 153. Then, if the subscriber feels interference while having a talk by using one of plural channels, the subscriber presses the switch 153. Then, a control circuit 140 varies a signal CH which specifies a channel successively to search for a free channel. When the free channel is found, the signal CH is fixed and the talk is restarted. Consequently, the talk of good quality is made without interference at any time. This method is applicable to a tranceiver and a carrier type interphone which uses a commercial AC power line in addition to the cordless telephone.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To eliminate the initial interruption of reproduced sound signals at the time of reproduction by storing the indicating address of an address counter at the time of the audio signal is inputted at the recording mode and starting the reading from an address preceding by a predetermined time interval the stored count value at the time of reproduction. CONSTITUTION:It is intended that the user may repeatedly reproduce his own voice. When a switch 3 is turned ON to a record mode, a control circuit 4 transmits signals to an address counter 5 to set the write mode for a memory 7 so that its address is sequentially incremented from zero. When the audio signal is inputted from a microphone 1, the sound signals are applied to an adaptive delta modem circuit 6 and a sound detection circuit 9 so that the indicating address of the address counter 5 at this time is stored. During repro duction, reading is started from an address preceding a predetermined time interval the stored address and reading is repeatedly performed from a speaker 13.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To attain sure calling and connection for a cordless telephone set by transmitting while a digital signal occupied band width is narrowered than that of a voice signal and narrowering the equivalent noise band width of the digital signal then that of the voice signal at reception. CONSTITUTION:The occupied band width occupied a carrier signal Sf is narrowered for the digital signal Sn than that of the voice signal Sa and the signal is transmitted. At reception, the signal Sf is amplified 22, mixed 23 with an outgoing 24 and filtered 25 as an intermediate frequency signal Si. The output of the filter 25 is controlled by a control circuit 30, switching circuits 42,43 are switched and in case of the digital signal Sn, the output is connected to a contact D and in case of the voice signal Sa, the output is connected to a contact A and a filter 41 with narrow band is inserted for the digital signal. The output of the switch 42 is subject to limit amplifier 26, demodulated 27, the digital signal is given to an LPF31, decoded 32 and the voice signal is amplified 28 and outputted. Thus, the threshold level of the digital signal is improved, the transmission/reception is ensured thereby improving the service of the cordless telephone set.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To ensure a quick transmission of an emergency broadcast, by storing previously the signal relating to the reception frequency to always sweep the signal and then discontinuing the sweep action when the control signal for emergency broadcast is detected. CONSTITUTION:A switch 9 is open in a queuing mode for emergency broadcast reception, and thus the power supply route is cut for an audible frequency amplifying circuit 5. However, a synthesizer part 10 is in an active mode since it always receives a supply of power. The N value corresponding to the frequency of a broadcast station stored in a preset memory 18 is addressed successively by a binary counter 19 and via a multiplexer 17, and then led out to the output of a wave detecting circuit 4 in the form of a wave detection output signal via an antenna 1, a high frequency circuit 2 and an intermediate frequency amplifying circuit 3 each when an emergency broadcast is started. Then the control signal contained in the wave detection output signal is detected by a control signal detecting circuit 7. With a detection of the control signal, the contact of a relay 8 is closed to supply the power to the circuit 5 and at the same time to discontinue the sweep action of the counter 19.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To confirm that urgent alarm has been broadcasted, by detecting the control signal for emergency alarm broadcast and by storing the signal related to it and by outputting the signal for confirmation of presence or absence of this signal. CONSTITUTION:The broadcasting start control signal is detected by control signal detecting circuit 7, and the contact of relay 8 is closed, and power is supplied to audible frequency amplifying circuit 5. When the broadcasting end signal is detected by control signal detecting circuit 7, the contact of relay 8 is released to cut off power of audible frequency amplifying circuit 5. Flip-flop circuit 11 is set by the eenergizing signal obtained in the output side of control signal detecting circuit 7, and light emitting diode 13 is lit, thus indicating that emergency alarm has been broadcasted.

When the count value of counter 31 is reduced by 1 and the receiving frequency becomes the frequency for receiving again, output Q37 becomes 1, and output Q53 becomes 1 by the next pulse Q32, and FF circuit 36 is reset to complete tuning.
