    Abstract: NEW MATERIAL:A compound expressed by formula I [R1 represents (protected) amino; Q represents N or C-R2 (R2 represents H or halogen); R3 represents H or (substituted) hydrocarbon residue; A represents (substituted) triazolopyridinyl, triazolopyridazinyl or triazolopyrazinyl], salt or ester thereof. EXAMPLE:Sodium 7beta-[2-(2-aminothiazol-4-yl)-2(Z)-methoxyiminoacetamide]-3-(s- triazolo[4.3-b]pyridazin-3-yl)methylthio]-3-cephem-4-carboxylate. USE:An antibacterial agent. PREPARATION:A cephem compound expressed by formula II, salt or ester thereof is reacted with a carboxylic acid expressed by formula III, salt or reactive derivative thereof.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prepare the title compound useful as a pesticide, etc., economically in an industrial scale, by reacting a specific compound such as ethyl 1,2,3,4-tetrahydro- 2,4-dioxopyrimidine-5-carboxylate, with an alcohol and a fluorination agent in hydrogen fluoride. CONSTITUTION:The objective compound of formula II is prepared by reacting (A) (1mol of) a compound of formula I (Y is esterified or amidated carboxyl or nitrile) with (B) (pref. 1-10mol of) an alcohol of formula ROH (R is alkyl) and (C) (pref. 50-500mol of) a fluorination agent such as pentafluorosulfur hypofluorite, molecular fluorine, etc., in hydrogen fluoride, at about -78-+40 deg.C, pref. -20- +30 deg.C. USE:Herbicide and anti-tumor agent.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide the deodorant which has the ability to catalytically oxidize and deodorize complex smells by using oxygen from the air and is effective for deodorization of basic smells as well by incorporating the copper (II) salt of org. dicarboxylic acid expressed by HOOC-A-COOH. CONSTITUTION:This deodorant contains the copper (II) salt of the org. dicarboxylic acid expresed by HOOC-A-COOH. A is 2 to 6C bivalent hydrocarbon residue. The copper (II) salt of the org. dicarboxylic acid exhibits a catalytic effect and exhibits the high deodorization effect by oxidatively deodorizing hydrogen sulfide and mercaptans. Further, the deodorant exhibits an excellent deodorization effect on not only the acidic smells but the basic smells as well when free org. dicarboxylic acid is compounded therewith in addition to the copper salt of the org. dicarboxylic acid.
