Abstract: An outdoor apparatus, such as a table or tower with integrated air conditioning for providing thermally conditioned air to users. The apparatus disperses conditioned air to people in the vicinity, more specifically directing vents to both the people's head region and torso region. A fan within the pedestal has a fan inlet communicative with the ambient air inlet for drawing ambient air into the pedestal for thermal conditioning and also has a fan outlet communicative with the conditioned air outlets for supplying conditioned air to users. A heat exchanger is interposed between the ambient air inlet and the fan inlet, and a working fluid supply is fluidly communicative with the heat exchanger for thermally conditioning the ambient air. The tabletop embodiment enhances the cooling by utilizing the table to entrapping the conditioned air about the person's torso.

Abstract: An umbrella structure capable of producing cool wind includes an umbrella shank. The umbrella shank is a hollow rod having a middle section formed with a plurality of air outlets thereon. A handle is provided with a power supply member (battery) therein. A circumferential portion of the handle at the junction of the handle and the umbrella shank is formed with a plurality of air inlets. A ventilating member is disposed in the handle. With a switch and a power supply member to conduct the ventilating member, the ventilating member is started to inhale air from the air inlets and produce an air current flowing into the umbrella shank and exhausting through the air outlets for providing cool wind to blow toward the user's face. The present invention provides a comfortable effect for the user.

Abstract: A ventilated umbrella includes a foldable frame, upper canopy and lower canopy. An upper and lower stopping rings with certain interval there between are disposed under the upper notched ring of the main shaft while a notched ring for string is slidable between the two stopping rings and a compression spring is between the notched ring for string and the lower stopping ring. A plurality of radial vertical slots with larger inner slots and smaller outer slots are disposed evenly on the notched ring for string so that one end of a plurality of strings is set into the vertical slot and restrained by a ring while the other end is connected to upper circumference of the lower canopy. And the connection point is located under a horizontal line formed by joints between the main ribs and the stretchers. Thereby a plurality of strings is easy to attach on the notched ring for string. When the umbrella is folded, the notched ring for string returns back by elasticity of the compression spring and simultaneously the upper and the lower canopies are pulled smoothly so that the upper and the lower canopies are rolled up conveniently.
