Abstract:
A method of assembling a solid surface countertop and a joint used in such assembly. Rather than building up a corner area of a countertop and cutting a radiused corner, pieces are preformed in the shop having interlocking pieces to provide additional strength and ease of assembly. The pieces interlock using a similar shaped joint for the edge pieces and the corner block.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a high capacity electrochemical cell having a cathode containing an oxide of copper as an active material, as well as an anode, an electrolyte, and separators for use with the cathodes of the invention in an alkaline electrochemical cell.

Abstract:
A vacuum pump system for a prosthesis includes an enhanced suspension mechanism and incorporates a vacuum pump system, an adaptor assembly, circuitry, and a power source. A virtually air-tight seal between a residual limb and a socket of the prosthesis allows a vacuum fit to be generated by the pump system. The pump system may be controlled with various circuits and processors receiving instructions from a software program. The pump system may be located within a pylon, but yet remain vibrationally and acoustically de-coupled from the pylon.

Abstract:
A vehicle entertainment and accessory control system (10) is disclosed. The control system (10) provides a plurality of touchscreens (12,14,16) that present user interfaces (38,62) concurrently with video windows (40,64). The user interfaces (38,62) enable users to control various entertainment components, such as a video display (22) and a speaker (24), as well as other vehicle accessories, such as an intercom (28). The entertainment components are controlled via a universal infrared controller (20). A master touchscreen (12) enables a user to control access to the system (10) via a plurality of passenger touchscreens (14,16) by disabling or limiting the use of the passenger touchscreens (14,16).
Abstract:
A shot control hosel is disclosed for customizing golf clubs. The disclosed embodiments of the invention provide a set of hosels, each hosel having a non-conical body. The body has a central axis, a top portion and a bottom portion. A cylindrical opening extends from the top portion to the bottom portion and is adapted to accommodate a golf club shaft. A flange may be provided on the body and may be adapted to engage a notch within a bore of a golf club head. A resilient barb on the smaller of the top portion and the bottom portion is provided to secure the hosel within the bore.

A vacuum pump system for a prosthesis device includes an enhanced suspension mechanism and cooperates with a pressure source, an adaptor assembly, circuitry, and a power source. A virtually air-tight seal between a residual limb and a socket of the prosthesis allows a vacuum fit to be generated by the pump system. The pump system may be controlled with various circuits and processors receiving instructions from a software program. Abstract:
Environmental information required for configuring a data storage system for using a file mapping protocol is collected and qualified via a spreadsheet used as an input file to a configuration program. The configuration program provides a comparison of the present configuration to the new configuration specified in the spreadsheet, and provides to a system administrator an option of applying or skipping the new configuration for each of multiple classes of configuration objects including iSCSI targets on storage array controllers, file server interfaces for host access to file mapping information, file systems, and iSCSI clients on the host processors. Once the system administrator approves the selected configuration changes, the configuration utility produces a series of control commands for execution by a control command interpreter of a file server in order to change configuration settings in the file server and in the storage array controllers.
