    Abstract: A flight module for use in a modular conveying belt for holding material on a moving belt. The module includes an intermediate portion having an upstanding wall that extends therefrom. The upstanding wall is corrugated in a direction transverse to the direction of belt travel. A first plurality of link ends extend outwardly from the intermediate portion and have openings defined therein that are transverse to the direction of belt travel. A second plurality of link ends extend outwardly from the intermediate portion in a direction opposite to the first plurality of link ends. The second plurality of link ends also have openings defined therein that are transverse to the direction of belt travel. The link ends are arranged such that the openings in respective link ends are capable of aligning when a pair of adjacent belt modules are juxtaposed. A pivot rod journaled in the aligned apertures of the side-by-side and end-to-end connected modules forms a hinge between adjacent rows. Rows of belt modules are connected together to form an endless conveyor belt capable of articulating about a drive sprocket.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cross conveyor chain capable of shortening a length of a transfer protruding piece, capable of avoiding bending and damage, capable of stably and smoothly feeding an article to be fed, preventing partial concentration of load, avoiding bending along the vertical direction, superior in strength, rigidity and durability, easily constituted in light weight, small size, and compact, simple in a structure, suitable for mass production, easily assembled, easily handled, capable of easily achieving reduction of a cost, and economical.
    SOLUTION: A first conveyor chain S1 is supported by an end bar 10 or a small diameter sprocket. A second conveyor chain S2 is constituted at least by two kinds of chain units A having different lengths and a connection pin B. In the chain unit A, a front end protruding part 1 and a front end recessed part 3 are alternately arranged at a front part, and a rear end protruding part 2 and a rear end recessed part 4 are alternately arranged at a rear part. The transfer protruding piece 7 is continuously provided on one side part integrally; an inclined lower surface 8 is formed on a tip lower surface thereof, and an inclined top surface 9 is formed on a tip upper surface thereof, respectively.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the shock resistance by using rubber with specific characteristics for at least an upper cover rubber layer in a conveyor belt provided with the upper cover rubber layer and a lower cover rubber layer respectively above and below a core layer. CONSTITUTION:In a conveyor belt 1 provided with an upper cover rubber layer 3 and a lower cover rubber layer 4 respectively above and below a core layer 2, rubber with such characteristics as JIS hardness of 68-78 and 300% extension stress of 100-300kg/cm is used for at least the upper cover rubber layer 3 within these cover rubber layers. Accordingly, the shock resistance can be improved by increasing the thickness of the cover rubber layer, improving the grade of the core layer, and increasing the ply number of the core layer.
