Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid core rope which is maintenance free or capable of reducing maintenance work.SOLUTION: The hybrid core rope 1 includes: a resin-made solid core 2 formed with a plurality of spiral grooves 2a on an outer peripheral surface in the longitudinal direction; a plurality of fiber bundles 3 spirally wound on the outer peripheral surface of the resin-made solid core 2 along the plurality of spiral grooves 2a, and each having a thickness infilling the spiral groove 2a; and a plurality of steel strands 4 spirally wound on the outer peripheral surface of the resin-made solid core 2 with the fiber bundles 3 wound therearound. The fiber bundles 3 and the strands 4 are wound at angles not parallel with respect to one another.
