Abstract:
The abrasion resistance of organic fiber based ropes and cords is increased by a outer woven cover of tapes of high molecular weight and more preferably ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a reinforcement for a building works structure (1) comprising an assembly of solid wires (13, 14). The wires are mutually parallel to form a bundle and the reinforcement comprises a sheath (12) made of plastic material enclosing the bundle and providing it with cohesion.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: Wire rope for a window regulator comprising some inner strand and some outer strand is provided to give high resistance to wear, good pliability, and excellent endurance to the wire rope, as well as perfect identification of the articles using the final wire rope, due to the possibility of visible observation for who needs. CONSTITUTION: A wire rope for a window regulator is characterized by comprising an inner strand and 8 outer strands. The inner strand is also characterized by including 22 filaments running parallel with each other. The filaments in the inner strand are preferential to position them to contact each other at only one point with maintaining their parallel state. The outermost filaments in the inner strand are substantially identical to the outermost filaments comprising the outer strands. The desired wire is also characterized in that the final wire may be fully identified by its inner strand comprising PE, PP or brass-plated metal filament as an indicator.
Abstract:
A flexible pulling rope includes a main rope body and a main rope sleeve. The main rope body is formed by connecting a rope from head to tail. The main rope body includes a connecting part formed by two parallel ropes and two pulling parts located at two ends of the connecting part. The main rope sleeve sleeves the connecting part. Two ends of the main rope sleeve are respectively connected to two ends of the connecting part. The present disclosure also provides a method for manufacturing a flexible pulling rope. By the arrangement of the above structure, the two ends of the main rope sleeve are respectively connected to the two ends of the connecting part. This can not only form a whole by the connecting part and the main rope sleeve, improve the strength of the product, and make the product bear higher loads when pulling heavy objects.
Abstract:
A rope assembly comprises a rope, wherein the rope comprises a plurality of braided or twisted strands. The rope assembly also comprises an attachment structure formed of a polymer. The attachment structure defines an opening through the rope between the strands. The strands are fixedly held in the attachment structure by being encased within the polymer.
Abstract:
A tie down ratchet and strap includes, a ratchet shaft rotatably mounted in a ratchet body having a slot for receiving a wind-up strap therethough, a pair of ratchet wheels mounted on the ratchet shaft, a ratchet handle with a pawl engaging the ratchet wheels to rotate the ratchet shaft, a locking bar securing the ratchet wheels and ratchet shaft in position when the pawl is disengaged from the ratchet wheels, an anchor strap with a connector for securing the ratchet assembly to a first anchor point, and a wind-up strap including a non-metallic fabric strap with a braided metal outer cover extending continuously over the length of the non-metallic fabric strap.
Abstract:
A woven rope an inner portion comprising a plurality of multifilament fibers in the length direction of the woven rope and a jacket portion covering the inner portion. The jacket portion contains a plurality of monofilament fibers in the length direction of the woven rope and at least one multifilament fiber in the circumferential direction interwoven with the monofilament fibers in the length direction of the jacket portion. The monofilament fibers of the jacket portion form the majority of the outer surface of the woven rope.
Abstract:
A jacket for a load-bearing, lengthy body, wherein the jacket is comprised of a plurality of braid elements which, when braided, enclose at least a portion of the lengthy body, and wherein the braid element is comprised of a braided ribbon. A method of forming the jacket is also described.
