An electric door operator for opening and closing one or a spaced pair of transit vehicle passenger doors for being mounted over an opening for the doors. A rotatable input shaft has an electric motor secured to the input shaft for driving the input shaft, a worm centrally positioned on the motor shaft, and an electric brake mounted to the input shaft at an end opposite of the electric motor. A drum cam lifts a pinion from a worm gear disconnecting the worm gear from an output gear train in an emergency.
Abstract:
A method for calibrating a powered actuator for use in a vehicle is provided, with regard to an end position of an actuating element which is easy to achieve and conserves easily damaged mechanical components of the actuator made from plastic, rubber or similar. According to an example embodiement, in a calibrating step, the actuator is operated with recording and analysis of an actuation speed measured parameter such that the actuating element is moved in the direction of the end position and reaching the end position is recognized when the value of the actuation speed measured parameter reaches or drops below a given threshold. A temperature parameter characterizing the temperature of the actuator is evaluated before or during the calibration process. The calibration step is then only carried out if the value of the temperature parameter does not exceed an upper temperature limit. An actuator suitable for carrying out said method is also disclosed.

Garage door opener for simple installation and to fully actuate various counterbalanced doors of different makes with minimum mechanism, and to be packaged and sold as a compact kit. The opener is built around a short main drive shaft adapted to be coupled coaxially to the end of the door counterbalance shaft. The drive shaft is journalled in two frame side members and therebetween carries a worm gear and two friction drive disks spring-pressed against the gear to transmit limited drive torque therefrom to the shaft. The gear is driven by a worm on the shaft of a motor on a carrier which is slidable on the frame. A manual cam moves the carrier between a worm-engaged position for drive and a worm-disengaged position to release the door for manual operation. A threaded extension of the main shaft carries a pair of traveling nuts which actuate switches to limit door travel both directions. In one modification, the assembly is mounted on studs on a mounting plate and adjusted thereto to bring the drive shaft coaxial with the counterbalance shaft, and the two shafts are coupled. In a second modification, the assembly is cantilevered by its drive shaft on the counterbalance shaft and is stabilized in coaxial relation therewith by a torque-reaction bracket. Such bracket may include a torque-limiting switch operable to reverse the drive in response to excess torque. For most installations, a down-drive cable is added to the counter-balance mechanism and connected to positively move the door from open to closed position in response to down-drive rotation of the counterbalance shaft.

A worm wheel apparatus for a power window motor of a vehicle with enhanced wear resistance according to the present invention comprises: a housing which is made of a synthetic resin material and includes a worm wheel accommodation unit accommodating the worm wheel and a shaft integrally formed on the central portion of the worm wheel accommodation unit; a flange bush which is made of metal, is fixed on the shaft, and includes a flange supported on the floor of the worm wheel accommodation unit; and a worm wheel which is coupled to the flange bush to be able to slide and arranged on the shaft to be able to rotate. The flange bush is fixed onto the shaft by a forced pressure fitting method.

본 발명은 웨이퍼 증착장비용 프로세스챔버 개폐장치에 관한 것이다. 이는, 챔버리드를 갖는 프로세스챔버의 챔버리드에 고정되는 상부링크브라켓과; 상부링크브라켓의 하부에 고정되는 하부링크브라켓과; 연결핀을 통해 하부링크브라켓에 링크되는 리드스크류와; 상부링크브라켓에 연결핀으로 연결되는 상부커넥터와; 상부커넥터에 고정된 상태로 리드스크류의 일부를 수용하는 리프팅파이프와; 리프팅파이프의 하단부에 고정되는 기어하우징과; 기어하우징의 밀폐공간내에 수용되는 워엄휠 및 워엄과; 기어하우징의 외측부에 설치되는 고정브라켓과; 고정브라켓에 고정되는 서보모터와; 서보모터의 회전력을 워엄으로 전달하는 커플러가 포함된다. 상기와 같이 이루어지는 본 발명의 웨이퍼 증착장비용 프로세스챔버 개폐장치는, 챔버리드의 개방각도를 다단으로 조절할 수 있으며, 더 나아가 입력된 각도에 도달했을 때 자동으로 정지하는 구조를 가져, 사용이 매우 편리하다. 또한, 기어하우징에 밀폐된 워엄 및 워엄휠을 채용하므로 동작 정밀성이 뛰어나고, 모터의 부하가 작아 저소음 운용이 가능하며 쇳가루가 날릴 염려가 없다.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear unit of a simpler design, which can be manufactured cost-effectively. SOLUTION: The invention is a gear unit and a motor driven gear unit for a lifting system of a vehicle cable window, cooperates with a drive (14, 50 ; 59, 60), winds up a cable (53) of the cable window lifting system (100) and is provided with gear mechanisms (15, 10) which is combined with a cable drum (17) rotatably mounted for feeding. In the invention, a diameter of the cable drum (17) for the gear unit or the motor driven gear unit is within a range of about 22 mm to about 30 mm, more preferably within a range of about 24 mm to about 28 mm while a gear ratio of the gear mechanisms (15, 10) is within a range of about 1:38 to about 1:55, more preferably within a range of about 1:42 to about 1:51.
