The inventive container comprises: a container body formed of a transparent material such that a user can see the liquid level of the liquified gas fuel in the container; a top end structure provided on the top end of the container body; and a discharge valve provided in the top end structure, the discharge valve being a valve of the type attachable to a camping-type appliance.

An effects generation system structured to produce a controlled special effects cloud and including a cryogenic fluid source including a container wherein a quantity of a cryogenic fluid is stored. The container includes a fluid outlet and a fluid inlet, the fluid inlet being disposed in fluid flow communication with a pressurization assembly that is structured to maintain an outflow of the cryogenic fluid, under pressure, through the fluid outlet and into a delivery assembly operatively connected with the fluid outlet and structured to deliver the cryogenic fluid into a desired area through a plurality of delivery ports and into reactive proximity with a quantity of a reactive fluid so as to bring about a phase change in the reactive fluid sufficient to result in the formation of the special effects cloud.

A fluid storage and dispensing system including a fluid storage and dispensing vessel enclosing an interior volume for holding a fluid. The vessel includes a fluid discharge port for discharging fluid from the vessel. A pressure regulating element in the interior volume of the fluid storage and dispensing vessel is arranged to flow fluid therethrough to the fluid discharge port at a set pressure for dispensing thereof. A controller external of the fluid storage and dispensing vessel is arranged to transmit a control input into the vessel to cause the pressure regulating element to change the set pressure of the fluid flowed from the pressure regulating element to the fluid discharge port. By such arrangement, the respective storage and dispensing operations can have differing regulator set point pressures, as for example a subatmospheric pressure set point for storage and a superatmospheric pressure set point for dispensing.

A fluid storage and dispensing system including a vessel for holding a fluid, an adjustable set point pressure regulator in the interior volume of the vessel, a dispensing assembly in fluid flow communication with the regulator for dispensing fluid at a pressure determined by the set point of the regulator, and an adjusting assembly exterior to the vessel for in situ adjustment of the set point of the internally disposed regulator. By such arrangement, fluid storage and dispensing operations can have respectively differing regulator set point pressures, as for example a sub-atmospheric pressure set point for storage and a super-atmospheric pressure set point for dispensing.

A canister includes a substantially cylindrical body having (i) a sidewall shell; (ii) a transition region; (iii) a dome portion extending from a convex annular portion to define at least a partially closed dome at one end of the body cylinder; (iv) and an opposing, open end of the cylindrical body; and a curved bottom member recessed within and sealed at a periphery thereof to the sidewall shell at the open end of the cylindrical body. An annular, exterior surface portion of the bottom member bears on an annular, exterior surface portion of the transition region thereby forming a space between and within the annular exterior surface portion of the bottom member and an exterior surface of the dome portion when the canister is stacked on a substantially identical canister.

A gauge is described for measuring the gas pressure in high pressure gas cylinders. The gauge is mounted in the high pressure port of the cylinder valve, while gas is delivered through a lower pressure portion. The gauge comprises a cylindrical housing and a retaining nut, with the housing rotatable relative to the retaining nut. The cylindrical housing encloses a coiled bourdon tube which communicates with the gas in the cylinder and coils up or uncoils in response to changes in pressure. A viewing glass encloses a pointer and scale arrangement seated in the housing to permit the gas cylinder pressure to be displayed.

A cylinder (1) having a plunger tube (3) contains a mass of supercritical CO.sub.2 containing 7 to 8% dissolved hydrogen, surmounted by a gaseous sky constituted by hydrogen under a pressure higher than about 120 bars. Supercritical CO.sub.2 containing several percent of dissolved hydrogen can thus be obtained by merely opening the valve (5) of the cylinder. Used in the cosmetic industry.
