A data communication method includes the steps of: sending a communication procedure signal prior to data communication; sending a data signal; and sending a stop signal for stopping an echo suppressor function on a communication network; wherein the stop signal is sent prior to the data signal in such a way that a time interval during which no signal is generated does not occur, after the stop signal is sent, until the data signal is sent. A data communication apparatus includes: a communication unit for sending and receiving a data signal; a discrimination unit for discriminating if the apparatus is a calling station; and a control unit for controlling to change a communication controlling mode based on the output from the discrimination unit.

A fax monitoring device is provided to perform only a monitoring process without participating in a hand shaking process, thereby perfectly performing security work for transmitted fax or voice because fax use environment such as a number change is not changed. A fax monitoring device(200) comprises the followings: a signal processor(210); a monitoring logging unit(220) which receives a fax signal, transmitted between an originating facsimile and a receiving facsimile after a hand shaking process, through the signal processor(210) and converts the signal into an image file; and a monitoring application(240) which controls operations of the monitoring logging unit(220) if a logging driving signal is inputted from the signal processor(210), and receives and manages the image file.

본 발명은 이미지 공급 장치의 범용 인터페이스 클래스에 따라 변경된 접속 모드로 이미지 인쇄 장치에 접속하여 상기 이미지 공급 장치의 이미지 파일을 인쇄하는 이미지 인쇄 방법 및 장치에 관한 것이다. 본 발명은 상기 이미지 공급 장치의 범용 인터페이스 클래스의 종류를 조회하는 단계 및 상기 조회된 범용 인터페이스 클래스의 종류에 따라 이미지 공급 장치와 이미지 인쇄 장치의 접속 모드를 결정하는 단계 및 상기 결정된 접속 모드로 상기 이미지 공급 장치의 이미지 파일을 수신하여 인쇄하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다. 본원발명은 이미지 공급 장치의 범용 인터페이스 클래스에 상관없이 이미지 공급 장치를 이미지 인쇄 장치에 다이렉트로 연결하여 이미지 파일을 인쇄할 수 있는 인쇄 방법 및 장치를 제공한다.

A method and device to transmit and/or receive fax data in a fax machine or a multifunctional device including a fax function. The method of transmitting the fax data may include transmitting fax data intended to be transmitted to an external device using a user datagram protocol (UDP), receiving a signal requesting that the fax data be re-transmitted from the external device when an error occurs in the transmission of the fax data, and re-transmitting the fax data to the external device in response to the request signal. Accordingly, the fax on a receiving end checks whether a transmission error occurred when data is transmitted from a fax of a transmitting end using a UDP, and, when a transmission error is present, transmits a request signal requesting that the data be re-transmitted to the fax on the transmitting end. At this point, the data is immediately re-transmitted. Therefore, reliability of fax data transmission is increased and the time required for data transmission can be reduced.

A fax data transmitting and receiving method using a fax data transmitting apparatus and a fax data receiving apparatus that are connected via at least two fax lines. Upon fax data transmission, first, a script to be transmitted is scanned, and fax data corresponding to the script are stored. Next, at least two available lines to transmit the fax data are secured. Thereafter, the fax data is divided, and then the fax data segments are simultaneously transmitted via the secured available lines. Upon fax data reception, first, the dialing of the fax data transmitting apparatus is replied. Then, the phone number of at least one extra available line is provided to the fax data transmitting apparatus. Thereafter, an extra available line corresponding to the phone number is provided to the fax data transmitting apparatus. While fax data corresponding to a script is simultaneously received from the fax data transmitting apparatus via at least two available lines provided to the fax data transmitting apparatus, related data for classifying the fax data is also received. In this method, the speed of transmitting, receiving, and printing fax data increase, significantly reducing the time required to transmit fax and the time required to receive and print the fax data.

PURPOSE: A method for transmitting and receiving facsimile data is provided to increase speed of transmitting facsimile data and printing the transmitted facsimile data by increasing data transmitting and receiving lines. CONSTITUTION: A facsimile data transmitting device calls a facsimile data receiving device(40) at a first phone number. The facsimile data transmitting device asks whether the facsimile data receiving device has available lines(42). The facsimile data transmitting device confirms whether the facsimile data receiving device has extra available lines(44). The facsimile data transmitting device transmits facsimile data in a single line method using only a line corresponding to the first phone number(46). The facsimile data transmitting device calls the facsimile data receiving device at a second phone number of the extra available line(48). The facsimile data transmitting device scans all documents(50). Facsimile data generated through the scanning is stored in a memory of the facsimile data transmitting device. The facsimile data transmitting device divides the facsimile data for transmitting one part through the first line and the other part through the second line at the same time(52).

There is provided a communication apparatus for preventing re-transmission to the address associated with a predetermined communication system. The communication apparatus deletes the stored address information after the transmission instruction is received and a transmission process according to the transmission instruction is ended if the stored address information is associated with a predetermined communication system, and the communication apparatus keeps storing the stored address information even after the transmission instruction is received and the transmission process according to the transmission instruction is ended if the stored address information is associated with another communication system.

Disclosed herein are a data transmission apparatus and method, and a network data transmission system and method using the same. A data transmission method according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention encodes photographed images to generate image live data and generates image analyzing data based on the photographed images. Thereafter, the data transmission method calculates the network transmission bandwidth and stores image live data as image preserving data simultaneously with transmitting the image analyzing data when the network transmission bandwidth is smaller than the predetermined threshold value. If it is determined that the network transmission bandwidth is larger than a predetermined threshold value, the data transmission method transmits the image live data or transmits the image analyzing data and/or the image preserving data along with the image live data.
