Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily store a strap in a garnish in a short time, by fastening the strap to a front pillar.SOLUTION: A strap fitting structure of a curtain airbag device comprises an airbag 4 for deploying by gas generated by an inflator 3 and a strap 1 having a base end part joined to a vehicle front part of the airbag 4 and having a tip part connectable to a front pillar 2. A loop 7 is formed in the tip part of the strap 1 by joining this folded-back tip part to a non-folded-back strap part by folding back the tip side of the strap 1. The front pillar 2 is provided with a hook 2a having a holding object part 2aa inserted into the loop 7. The loop 7 comprises a sandwiching part 8 for gradually narrowing between the folded-back part and the non-folded-back part of the strap 1 for approaching a joining part. When locking the strap 1 on the front pillar 2, the holding object part 2aa of the hook 2a is sandwiched by the sandwiching part 8 by pulling the loop 7 in the direction for going away from the airbag 4.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curtain airbag device improving the durability of tabs to a bracket, with a simple structure.SOLUTION: An airbag includes: a plurality of brackets 132 attached on an upper part of a vehicle cabin side wall in a vehicle fore-and-aft direction, and respectively equipped with insertion holes 134 having long holes in the vehicle fore-and-aft direction; a cushion portion capable of expanding/developing along the vehicle cabin side wall; and a plurality of strip-shaped tabs 130 respectively inserted in the insertion holes 134 of the plurality of brackets 132, and hanging the cushion portion. The tab 130 has folded portions 140a and 140b made by folding side edges 142a and 142b on both sides in a width direction to a lower edge 144 side of the insertion hole 134, in the insertion hole 134.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular curtain airbag and a vehicular curtain airbag device, capable of improving the performance of preventing an occupant from being thrown out of a vehicle.SOLUTION: A vehicular curtain airbag includes: a duct region A formed sideways toward the front of a vehicle 3 from a position of a center pillar 7, and communicated with a gas inflow part 12; a longitudinal chamber region B formed in a front portion; an upper lateral chamber region E formed below the duct region in a state of communicating with the duct region and the longitudinal chamber region; a lower lateral chamber region F formed below the upper lateral chamber region in a state of communicating with the longitudinal chamber region; and an upper space partition D formed on the center pillar side of the longitudinal chamber region above the upper lateral chamber region, and opened on the center pillar side to be communicated with the duct region. The front portion is formed with an overlap section H between the longitudinal chamber region and the upper lateral chamber region, and an attachment tab 2x is positioned just above the longitudinal chamber region, and is attached in the vicinity of a boundary Z between a front pillar 5 and a roof side rail 4 of the vehicle.
