Abstract: A stretching device is mounted to a positioning portion of furniture and includes a motor, a telescopic rod, and a handlebar. The motor is activatable for moving the telescopic rod in a retracting or extending direction. The telescopic rod is located in a position corresponding to a backrest of the furniture and includes an upper end fixed to the handlebar to move therewith. The handlebar is located on top of the furniture and includes a pair of grips. The handlebar further includes at least one button for controlling turning directions of the motor. When a user sits or lies in the furniture with two hands grasping the grips, a body of the user is stretched when the button is pushed to cause the motor to turn in a direction for moving the telescopic rod in the extending direction.

Abstract: An electric massage device comprises a motor, a base, at least one gear train including a driven gear rotatably supported in the base, at least one movable member, and at least one massage member. The driven gear is driven by an output shaft of the motor. The driven gear includes engaging grooves in a side thereof. The movable member includes a toothed portion having a plurality of teeth. The massage member is securely connected to the movable member to move therewith. The engaging grooves of the driven gear and the teeth of the movable member are so configured that when the output shaft turns in a direction, the movable member and the massage member are turned, and that when the output shaft turns in a reverse direction, the movable member and the massage member move reciprocatingly.

Abstract: A screw device for orthodontic treatment is formed with a platform part that has a relatively large radial width between a head part and a screw-body part of the screw device, and a neck part that has a radial width smaller than that of head part is also formed between the platform part and the head part. Therefore, a hook ring at the end of a spring (or rubber band) used for orthodontic treatment may be directly fitted from the head part and be positioned at the neck part without worrying about being dropped off. The thickness of the platform part may prop the spring up the gingiva for keeping from friction. By screwing the screw-body part into the maxilla (or mandible) to make the platform part abutted against the maxilla (or mandible), not only may a stable screwing force be provided for securing the screw, but also does the side surface of the platform have a function of facilitating the gingiva tissue to grow, so the healed-over wound will be more even and good looking. The screw-head part of the invention may be arranged with slot for providing an accommodation for the orthodontic archwire. The screw of the invention not only may provide a hook-hanging mechanism for the spring, but also have a function for supporting the orthodontic archwire.

Abstract: An angle control device is used with a blind assembly which includes an elongated top housing with an open bottom end, a horizontal shaft journalled in the top housing, and a plurality of vertically extending slats, each of which has a top end coupled to the shaft such that axial rotation of the shaft results in corresponding rotation of the slats about vertical axes. The angle control device includes a drive pulley adapted to be coupled to the shaft such that rotation of the drive pulley results in corresponding rotation of the shaft, and adapted to be disposed in the top housing such that a periphery of the drive pulley forms a clearance with the top housing. The angle control device further includes a tilt control cord which passes over the drive pulley and which is adapted to extend out of the top housing via the open bottom end of the top housing. The tilt control cord is operable so as to rotate the drive pulley in order to adjust the tilting angle of the slats. The tilt control cord has opposite free end sections, each of which is provided with a stop member that is sized larger than the clearance to prevent removal of the tilt control cord from the drive pulley.
