Abstract:
Disclosed are an antitumor preparation comprising a combination of (1) a combination drug of tegafur/gimeracil/oteracil potassium, (2) at least one ingredient selected from the group consisting of folinic acid and pharmacologically acceptable salts thereof, and (3) cis-oxalate(1R,2R-diaminocyclohexane)platinum(II) ; a kit comprising a combination of pharmaceutical compositions for treating cancer in a mammal, comprising: (a) a combination drug of tegafur/gimeracil/oteracil potassium in a therapeutically effective amount; (b) a composition containing at least one ingredient selected from the group consisting of folinic acid and pharmacologically acceptable salts thereof in an amount effective for enhancing antitumor effects, and (c) a composition containing cis-oxalate(1R,2R-diaminocyclohexane)platinum(II) in an amount effective for enhancing antitumor effects; and a method for treating cancer.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a dyeing method using a laser beam. The method can dye transparent resins such as plastic lens well. Also disclosed is a dyeing apparatus. The dyeing method comprises heating a plastic lens (10) having a dye-coated surface to fix the dye on the surface of the plastic lens (10). The method comprises the step of applying a laser beam with a wavelength, which is less likely to be absorbed in the dye but it absorbed in the plastic lens (10), onto the surface of the plastic lens (10) through the dye.
Abstract:
There is provided a composition comprising an antibacterial-endotoxin antibody, for use in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, a whey protein food comprising whey protein and one or more indigestible saccharides, an antibody-containing food comprising an antibody contained in whey protein and one or more bacteria selected from lactobacilli and bifidobacteria, and a protein composition excellent in water dispersibility, comprising a powdered or granulated whey protein and a powdery unsolidifiable and insoluble substance.

Abstract:
A method of aquaculturing a scampi lobster, a device for aquaculturing a scampi lobster, and a scampi lobster aquacultured by the method or the device. The aquaculturing method comprises containing a scampi lobster (3) within a container (1), the container containing a seawater, the container being disposed in aquaculturing facilities on land, the scampi lobster being reared, cultivated, nursed, stocked or preserved, or seeds thereof being produced respectively under artificial control. According to the present invention, scampi lobsters can be effectively reared, cultivated, nursed, stocked or preserved, and seeds thereof can be effectively produced. It is possible to effectively produce scampi lobsters for release with a view to recovering and increasing the resources, and to effectively produce scampi lobsters with a view to supplying foodstuffs. It is, of course, possible to utilize the reared, cultivated, nursed, stocked or preserved scampi lobsters as foodstuffs. Also, it is possible to exhibit the reared, cultivated, nursed, stocked or preserved scampi lobsters.
Abstract:

Abstract:
An apparatus comprising: a sprayer for inoculating a microbe on a first division divided from at least one sample of a plant to be examined; sample leaving device for leaving a second division divided from the sample not inoculated with the microbe and the first division inoculated with the microbe, for a predetermined period of time under a predetermined condition; first and second photodetector for respectively measuring the quantities of luminescence emitted from the first and second divisions which have been left standing by the sample leaving device; and a computer for comparing the quantities of the luminescence measured by the first and second photodetector, thereby to examine the resistance or sensitivity of the plant to the microbe.
