    Abstract: 9485. Weber, W. June 29. [Addition to 8606/15.] Blasting-cartridges.- Relates to cartridges containing a metallic powder separate from a combustible absorbent for liquid air, as described in the parent Specification, and consists in making the cartridge case (1) with corrugated paper l between double walls a; (2) with a central perforated tube b of relatively large diameter and projecting outside for the introduction of the liquid air; (3) with a base cap f detachably secured by a pasted band of paper m to enable the case to be charged from the base, and (4) with channels h along the side of the case for the wires p of the detonator c , these channels being covered by a pasted strip of paper i. The outer end of the central tube is closed by a perforated plug g and the inner end e may be plugged with cotton over the metallic powder in the bag c. Ammunition receptacles.-The cartridges described above may during transport be placed above the vessels containing the liquid air, so that the vapours from the liquid air may soak into the cartridges.

    Abstract: The socket is intended for movable furniture containing light fittings, music cabinets etc. It has a multi-part insulating socket housing with an aperture in a front wall for the cable end. Near this aperture is a tension relief arrangement. In the middle of its long dimension is arranged at least one pair of socket contacts for holding the plug. The housing consists of an inner part(1) whose half(2) extends over its entire length and contains the contact terminal(4), together with the pair(s) of socket contacts(12). An outer housing consists of two caps(5, 11). In the inner housing half and on the clamps(6), aligned with the same are clamping surfaces(8) on either side of the cable end(7). The outer housing caps press the clamping part against the clamping surfaces for firmly holding the cable end.

    Abstract: The opposite faces of the switch housing have each a through aperture for the line ends. Near these apertures is provided a tensile relief arrangement. In the longitudinal middle of the housing is mounted a switch with an actuator passing through a housing opening. The switch housing consists of an inner (1) and an outer housing. The inner housing has a longitudinal housing half (2), containing the contact terminal (4) and the switch (3). The outer housing consists of two housing caps (5) which can be inserted from opposite sides on the inner housing. Inside the overlapping clamping parts (6) of the inner housing are formed clamping surfaces (8) on either side of the line end (7). The assembly is held together by the inserted housing caps.
