Abstract:
The invention relates to cosmetic preparations and toothpaste containing polyethylene wax, particularly micronised polyethylene wax with improved organoleptical properties, produced by (co-)polymerising ethylene at high pressure using an aliphatic or alicyclic ketone as a molecular weight regulator.
Abstract:
The invention relates to pigment concentrates, comprising at least one colour pigment; a polyethylene wax, produced from ethylene and an optional copolymer, by means of a metallocene catalyst; optionally, a thermoplastic plastic and optional adjuncts. The invention further relates to methods for production of said pigment concentrate and moulded bodies and flat objects which are coloured with said pigment concentrate and methods for colouring said moulded bodies and flat objects.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for coating a reactor. Said method is characterised in that a metal layer or a metal polymer dispersion layer is deposited on the inner surface of the reactor in a currentless manner by contacting the surfaces to a metal electrolytic solution which contains a reduction means and a halogenated polymer in dispersed form in addition to the metal electrolyte. Said halogenated polymer can optionally be deposited.
Abstract:
In a process for preparing polyethylene waxes at from 200 to 350.degree .C and pressures in the range from 500 to 4 000 bar using molar mass regulators, a peroxide mixture comprising from 5 to 95% by weight of at least one cyclic peroxide of the formula I, (see formula I) where the radicals R are identical or different and are selected from among alkyl groups and aryl groups, is used as free radical initiator and a molar H2/ethylene ratio of from 1:2 000 to 1:40 000 is employed.
Abstract:
The invention relates to electrical contact elements which are formed from two half shells. The two half shells can be attached to one another by means of a pin fitted on the one half shell and a depression constructed on the other half shell into which depression the pin can be engaged. Within the latching connection formed in this way there is provided at least one weak point which fails in the event of an attempt to separate the half shells from one another before the respective latching connection gives way.
Abstract:
The electrical miniature plug connection has a retaining part and a plug part which can be inserted therein. The retaining part has an upper part with plug cavities for holding the plug and a lower part in which two live contact socket strips are inserted on both sides. In order to produce an earth connection without having to increase the dimensions of the plug connection, a third contact socket strip is inserted in a centre slot of the base part, which third contact socket strip, however, is offset in height with respect to the two live contact socket strips, and is located lower. The plug has a third contact pin which forms an earth contact pin and is offset so far with respect to the two other live contact pins that leakage currents and spark flashover are prevented. The earth contact pin is extended so far with respect to the two live contact pins that it engages first with its associated contact socket strip.
