Abstract: A composition is provided to alleviate stimulus such as itch and soreness and inflammation caused by chemical treatment such as permanent, prevent hair from becoming thinner, decrease the hair loss of the scalp and promote the hair growth. A composition for improving hair and scalp comprises at least two extracts selected from the group consisting of an extract of Paeonia Lactiflora, an extract of Thujae semen, an extract of Polygonum multiflorum and an extract of green tea(Thea sinensis Linnaeus) as effective ingredients, wherein each content of the extracts is 0.001-10 wt.% regarding the total composition, respectively. The composition is in the formulation of hair tonic, hair nutritive skin lotion, scalp treatment, hair treatment, hair rinse, hair shampoo or hair lotion.
